Blarney Castle & Gardens
Barney castle is a medieval stronghold in the heart of Blarney village it dates back to the 14th century. There are over 50 acres of magnificent gardens to explore. The world famous Blarney stone is located here.
Kinsale
Located at the start of the wild Atlantic way. Kinsale is famous for its colourful streets rich history and great food. On leaving kindle we make our way through the stunning country side to arrive at the old head where you will not be disappointed with the views from the cliffs. Next on our stop is the garden of remembrance. Dedicated to the memory of Fr Michael judge Chaplin in the New York Fire Department and to the 343 fire fighters who lost there lives on the 11th of September 2001.

5.00My daughter and I had such a lovely time with Darren. He drove us to Blarney Castle (with a stop at the Blarney Woolen Mills), Old Head cliffs, and Kinsale. He took great pictures of us, and made sure we had a reservation for lunch a great little restaurant with a view of the sea. He even showed us where to walk the next day for a tour of Cork sites. I highly recommend his tour!

5.00Darren gave us a glimpse of true Irish life on this tour. We enjoyed history, nature and delicious food! The scenic routes and the friendly conversation led to a delightful and charming day! He allowed us to choose the pace of the day and spend as much or as little time at each of the attractions. Strolling the gardens in the late fall at Barney Castle was unforgettable! The colors were beautiful and there were really no crowd. We are already planning to go back for more shopping at the woollen mills. A very relaxing day. We would highly recommend this your.

5.00We arrived in Cork with an idea of a plan and Darren made it both unforgettable and beyond comparison. Meeting him was a happy accident and he proceeded to show us around for two days, even taking us on to our next destination. From recommendations around Cork city to breathtaking sites around Kinsale, it truly was the star of our trip.
Beautiful journey through Cobh and Kinsale.

5.00I’m rewriting this review b/c I’m not sure the other went through. Darren was an absolute wonderful guide. He tailored our day to things we were interested in and was very knowledgeable about everything because he grew up in the Cork area. Everywhere we went ….. people seemed to know him which speaks to his likeable personality. He even threw in a little golf tour event which will be such a memory for my husband. What an awesome day we had with Darren. We give you an A++++ review!!!!!

5.00Darren was a very knowledgable guide and super friendly. Not pushy in any way and had great extra activities. Although the weather was typical Irish weather we had a great day anyway. Recommend this tour with Darren for anyone coming to Cork.

5.00Darren is the consummate guide--well informed, friendly, warm, full of life. He planned a full day for us and never rushed us at any point. He advised us to get an early start so as to miss the crowds at Blarney Castle and it was well worth it. We had a delicious lunch in a beautiful setting and were treated to rides on backroads so we really saw the countryside. I highly recommend a day spent with Darren!
Darren is a hero and this excursion will be the highlight of your trip

You will laugh, sing, and if you don't have an exceptional time, you'll need to do some self-reflection. 10/10 experience and the best excursion we have had on our 14-day trip.
