This tour is unique, it shows you in a single tour the majesty of underground architecture, the magic and mysticism of our ancestral cultures around the Colombian capital, you will always do it in the company of one of our expert guides.

The tour begins in the only cathedral built underground in the world, located up to 180 meters below the ground, it is an impressive mega structure where the ingenuity to build a mine of this magnitude is spectacularly combined with the artistic vision of the Christian Stations of the Cross and the construction of a religious temple that integrates a great work of sculpture and lighting.

We will continue the tour traveling towards a hidden treasure among the native nature of the Bogotá savannah. At the highest point, in the middle of the mountains, is the sacred lagoon of Guatavita, the place where an ancient legend was born: El Dorado.

Amazing! Went into the experience expecting something very different and was blown away with both experiences. Andrea our guide was fantastic. Friendly, informative, knew when to provide time to just reflect and enjoy. Such a fantastic guide. Couldn’t recommend this experience more. Two distinct experiences but both absolutely breathtaking.

Our private tour to Laguna Guatavita and Cathedral Sal Zipaquirá was terrific. Our guide, David, from Nomadas Colombia Travel, is a wonderful storyteller, and he provided a great explanation of the sites. He is kind and patient too. David knew the good spots for eating, including a stop for arepas and fresh hot corn on the cob, which tasted like popcorn. His driver was lovely too. Highly recommend.

The whole day was great. David is a great guide, very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. Alex is an excellent and careful driver. Both David and Alex are kind, considerate and funny. And the Colombian bbq joint they took me to for lunch was great. Try the Verdi. You won’t regret it.

I just completed a great tour to the Zipaquira Salt Cathedral. David was a great guide, very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. Alex is a very good driver. He was careful and efficient and very polite.

We joined a private tour for 2 pax. We were greeted by our guide Jhovanny and driver Alexander. Jhovanny was very friendly. He has done a great job and explained everything clearly in English. Alexander was excellent and brought us everywhere safely. We were comfortable and enjoyed every moment. The trip was nice and appropriate in length and time. It was overall an enjoyable trip.

Excellent service!! I came back super satisfied. My guide was called Laura and was very attentive, with a lot of knowledge of the places, the culture. Very friendly, friendly, made him travel a lot of fun. Agency attention was a 10. Very attentive, kind. I highly recommend it!!

An amazing experience with a great guide David who made us feel comfortable and welcome. His english was perfection and had a great way of explaining the synbolism and representation of things without being overwhelming. Just the right amount of history and insight that we could not have gotten otherwise. We 100% recommend. The private tour was absolutely worth it and this is from someone who did A LOT of research prior to booking. We loved it and have beautiful pictures memories to cherish forever as well!

A private tour for my partner and I. A driver and a personal guide, so we were well taken care of. We were picked up at 8am and back to hotel at 4pm. The tour was well paced given the traffic, activities and lunch. We did not feel rush from one activity to another. Bring your own water as no refreshment provided except lunch. It was a guided tour at Lake Guatavita, Mauricio was very kind translated all the information and tales presented by the guide. It was a 150 steps climb to view the lake. A delicious lunch was provided. Salt cathedral was thoughtfully built and beautiful. Mauricio explained every architecture ideas of each cross made in the Sal cathedral. He was fun and made the tour enjoyable.
