  Our experience with Esteban was spectacular from the very first moment. He always was kind and respectful. He knows lots of information about every place we visited with him, he speaks not only from his wide experience as a Tourism guide but also as someone who has done his academic studies and continues to learn more and more about his area richness and beauty. We did the Encanto Tour and Los Nevados tour, I highly recommend both of those because is simply magic. I loved Cocora, Salento and also admiring the Nevado's Volcano view early in the morning. And later went to this place where you can see so many hummingbirds and stay in the hot springs. Will also recommend to dedicate at least 5 days to Quindio area. Is such a wonderful and unique place in the world. And last advice, learn about coffee but also about cacao! ♥ Thank you so much Esteban for all your company and service those days.   We went as a couple and the experience was excellent from the first moment. Esteban met us at the airport upon arrival in Armenia and was always very willing to help us with everything. It is a guide with a lot of knowledge of the Coffee Axis and coffee: during the tours to Cocora, it gives a very complete introduction, similar to that of a coffee farm tour. (I recommend buying your coffee, it is of very good quality) We did the tour to Cocora Valley and the tour to Nevado del Ruiz, both amazing. The tour to Nevado del Ruiz is especially recommended: it includes bathing in hot springs and feeding hummingbirds, something that was the first time we saw in our lives. In addition, she guides and assists with activities outside the tours, such as riding in Cocora, and guides you at each point of the tour to make the most of it.   Estaban is a great tour guide ! He definitely went above and beyond of what we expected ! 💯 recommended.. was a totally private tour & traveled with my father and was very kind and nice with both of us. Don’t look anymore ! Choose Esteban for your future plans/tours. 🙏💯 Also, we had a small class on coffee; never knew so much as we know and now we can make better choices for our coffee.

  We used Esteban's company to organise a tour to Salento, Cocora Valley and Filandria. Esteban picked us up directly from our hotel and took us to meet our wonderful English speaking guide, Carlos. At the meet point Esteban gave us coffee from his farm, hot cheese rolls and a poncho, hat and fridge magnet. This was a very kind gesture to start our day. Our tour guide Carlos was fantastic !! He is very knowledgeable about the Armenia coffee region and explained everything clearly during our tour. Going with Carlos was more like being driven around by a friend who knew all the nice places to visit. It was truly a memorable experience for our family and I don't hesitate to highly recommend Esteban and his team. You will not be disappointed !!!

  This is the best tour experience I’ve ever had!! Esteban was very attentive, polite, kind, and especially knowledgeable on what he does. He went all the way to make my mom and I feel happy and comfortable during our three-day private tour. We did valle del Cocora, Filandia, Salento, parque el domo (which I strongly recommend) and Recuca. He also surprised us with a private coffee lesson/experience and took us for a ride to Armenia. We had an amazing experience in all of the above tours. He even helped us choosing the right hotel and gave us some inside tips for places to shop in Salento with good prices. This trip would not have been as great as it was without Esteban. I definitely will contact him in the future for my next trip to el Eje cafetero!!

  My tour to Salento, Filandia, and Cocora Valley was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Colombia! Everything from the organization to the breathtaking landscapes and warm hospitality made it an unforgettable experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting the Coffee Triangle. We started the day early with a comfortable drive through rolling green hills and coffee plantations — the views alone were worth the trip. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating stories about the region’s history, coffee culture, and local traditions. He made every stop feel meaningful and personal, not just another sightseeing stop. Filandia and Salento are colorful colonial towns with charming streets, artisan shops, and beautiful viewpoints. It felt authentic and peaceful, not overly touristy. Cocora Valley completely took my breath away. Seeing the iconic wax palm trees, the tallest in the world, rising above the misty mountains was magical — it honestly felt like stepping into a dream. The short hike through the valley was refreshing! We had lunch at a traditional restaurant and tried the local trucha (trout), which was delicious. Everything ran smoothly — transportation was on time, the pace was just right, and I never felt rushed. Whether you love nature, culture, or photography, this tour offers the perfect balance of all three. I left with so many beautiful memories (and photos!) and a deeper appreciation for Colombia’s coffee region.   I confess that I booked the tour with a lot of excitement, as I was going to know one of the most emblematic places in our country. However, the experience simply exceeded our expectations. It was our first time on the coffee tree and we were marveled with every detail, the landscapes, the people, the weather, in short, it would come back a thousand times. The attention of Esteban and his team was exceptional, he gave us a poncho and a hat, typical of the region. That made us feel like part of their culture, as well as it was very useful to deal with the icy wind of the Cocora Valley and achieved a perfect effect on the outfits. Unfortunately it took me a long time to book and he could not accompany us personally (because he had a reservation with another group), but he commissioned us with one of his collaborators, Juan Carlos, who was extremely friendly and attentive to us, for that we were very grateful. However, Esteban kept an eye on us via WhatsApp at all times.   We had an AMAZING vacation and Esteban and his travel company, Travecias y Cafe, made that happen!!! He helped arrange all of our transportation, arranged all of our tours and excursions, and gave us some great facts about all the cities, areas, and tourist attractions we visited. We also got a chance to sample a lot of great local food and coffee along the way, which made the whole experience even better! In particular, I am a big fan of a local dish called Bandeja Paisa, and the spots he took us to had some of the best I've ever had. I would definitely recommend Esteban to any group looking to tour the Quindio region and have some great memories and amazing coffee!!! For anyone looking for specific places we recommend from our tour, our favorites were: Cocora Valley - We went up the side of the mountain on horseback and took some wonderful photos from the top. Recua Coffee Tour - The tour of the coffee plantation was great and the guide was hilarious! The food at the cafeteria after the tour was also delicious!!! ATV Ride - We had a blast driving an ATV through the jungle! Hot Air Balloon - We did a 30 minute hot air balloon ride and it was just spectacular! The air balloon went up high at first but then lowered a bit to hover near the ground around some of the fincas and plantations nearby so we got some spectacular photos both up high and hovering over. Hot Springs - The hot springs were refreshing! They also had a hummingbird sanctuary nearby where we had hummingbirds eating out of our palms!
