This is a legendary day tour to embrace Mongolia in a short time. The itinerary includes a visit Chinggis Khaan Equestrian Statue and the enchanting Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. After the statue tour, you will head to Terelj NP and enjoy hiking to the Ariyapala Meditation temple and Turtle rock. The area boasts unique mountainous landscapes adorned with rocks and forests. Meanwhile, you can freely choose your lunch break time and can have lunch on the route with traditional street foods at the side of the roads. Or if you prefer to have a western-style lunch, you can freely ask the manager to reserve in advance at the tourist camp. There, you will have a chance to ride a horse and camel. Beautiful photo shooting with eagles in your arm will be available throughout the national park. Our driver can also drive to your additional preferred places.

Our driver will pick you up early in the morning from your accommodation in UB. The first stop is the impressive Ghinggis Khan Equestrian Statue at the Tsonjin Boldog Complex. Standing at a towering height of 40 meters, this monument is the world's largest equestrian statue. The statue is dedicated to Chinggis Khaan and located in Tsonjin Boldog, where Chinggis Khaan found a golden whip before his conquests era.
Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
After visiting the equestrian statue, your journey continues to the enchanting Gorkhi-Terelj National Park. In Terelj, you will enjoy hiking to the Ariyapala Meditation temple and Turtle rock. Meanwhile you can freely choose your lunch break time and can have lunch on the route with traditional street foods at the side of the roads. 5.00Great full day tour for those that want to experience some of the beauty and wonder of Mongolia. My driver/guide met me right on time at my Airbnb and was friendly and helpful throughout the day. He recommended photo spots and offered to take my picture many times since I was traveling solo. I’m not a big fan of long car rides, but the trip was spaced out perfectly and I was never in the car more than 2 hours at a time before we stopped at scheduled points of interest along the way.

5.00worth the visit, to see unique rock formations, lovely landscapes just outside of Ulaanbatar, opportunity for horse and camel riding. Horses and camels were really loved by my guide, which was lovely to experience, in addition to the ride itself. Horses are respected and therefore respected me and their human guardian. Eagles on the other side, nothing to do with the tour guide, should be free to fly the open and expansive Mongolian plains and hills. Mongolia after all does own the title of ruling much of the world, so everything witnessed is reflecting on this amazing reality. I realised I was amongst the descendants of the people, and the horses are the ancestors of those who set their name in history. People remember the people, but the people couldn’t accomplish any of this, without the horses. So, it’s worth it!

5.00We had a wonderful experience exploring the Chinggis Khan Statue and Terelj National Park with our driver, Batbayar. The trip from Ulaanbaatar was seamless and very relaxing, largely thanks to the super comfortable van he provided. It was the perfect way to see the sights without any stress. Batbayar is a professional and friendly driver who speaks English well, making coordination throughout the day very easy. If you are looking for a reliable and high-quality transport option for your adventures in Mongolia, we highly recommend his services!

5.00This is a must do for travel in UB. We came in mar which is a bit of an off peak but the snowy background was exactly what we came for. The walk up the Buddhist temple and the genghis khan statue was awesome. Our driver guide was Miigaa. He was patient with us and waited for us when we wanted to spend more time taking pictures or just a slow walk up the Buddhist temple. Always smiley and nice.
