  It was a little worrisome trying to find Leroy as he was all the way past all the tourist buses and through many people telling us that we had chosen the wrong location to visit and that it would be too touristy. Finally came upon Leroy and he was very kind and hospitable. Drove his van around and drove us promptly to Dunn’s River Falls. He paid the entrance fee for us to walk in and asked what time we wanted to be picked up. He was prompt and returned us back to the port. I recommend because we were there before the masses of people but I would probably add another destination to our trip as this was a quick 1 hour hike up and down the waterfalls. It was fun, beautiful but you need to be somewhat athletic to really feel comfortable doing the climb unattended.

  We booked a tour to Dunn’s River Falls and had the pleasure of meeting Winston! From the very beginning, he was very responsive & had great communication regarding pickup details. He was reliable, accommodating, and very patient. He stopped at some shops on the way back and didn’t rush us at all throughout the day. Dunn’s River Falls was an awesome tour, highly recommend this trip! Thank you for a great experience, Winston!

  We reserved excursions at Blue Hole and Dunn's river with Winston. What a gentlemen! It was easy to communicate with him before arriving at Ocho Rios. He's a proud Jamaican guy, happy to share the beauty of his country. He gave us time to go at both places and qe never felt rush to visit those place. He was waiting and we were deciding it was over, he was there, on the parking. It was a private tour, us and him, and we really like it. The price is fair and the quality of the service he's giving is excellent. He's a good driver and we felt safe with him during all the tour. At the end, I even ask him if we can find a place where I can buy a hat. He gently accepted and in less then 10 minutes, I was in a store where I found it. Thank you so much Winston!   This was an awesome experience for the group. Winston was friendly, engaging and informative as he pointed out all sites on our journey to and after Dunn River’s Falls! Book this, you will not be disappointed!

  We had a great day in Jamaica. We hired Winston Gayle of Tour Jamaica Today and from the beginning, he was courteous and responsive to emails. We had a group of 11 people from ages 4 to 84. When we disembarked, he was waiting for us. Be aware that the walk to the meeting point may be longer than you expect in the heat. His van is not luxury, but he gave us a low rate for the day, and thoughtfully provided towels and water for us as well. He drove us to Blue Hole first, which was great fun jumping in. The water is cold and the area is shaded. Be aware that there is a slight current, especially if you're trying to swim to the small cave. Then we went to lunch at a Jamaican beef patty fast food joint. Then we went to Dunn's Falls while Winston drove the grandparents to a shopping area. Dunn's Falls was awesome! We went in the afternoon and hardly saw anyone there (at least not the big groups that I saw in the pictures). We didn't know that we had to start the climb from the beach, where you can have a guide. Instead we started at a higher entry point and climbed by ourselves. There were a few scary moments because the rocks are slippery, but once you make it to the top, you'll feel such a rush! Both my kids (4 and 10) were so excited to climb the falls. My ten year old son loved it so much he climbed it twice. Winston picked us up promptly at the appointed time and brought us back to the ship. We enjoyed our day in Jamaica, and thankful to have a private driver such as Winston. He is kind, pleasant, helpful, and professional. We can recommend him!

• More convenient than a cab

  Our driver was waiting for us outside the port entrance with our name on a sign. A quick drive to the falls. Asked us how long we wanted to stay (2/12 hours, could have stayed longer). He was waiting for us when we exited the park. Then took us to a local shop to buy some Blue Mt coffee. Made the trip very easy!

• Nice day in Ocho Rios

  We had a very enjoyable day in Ocho Rios. We booked last minute, but Winston was very helpful, he waited for us at the port with a name table, so we found him easliy. He took us to the Dunn’s River Falls and waited for us until we finished the tour. Then he took us to a hill, from there we could see the town and the port. We made very good pictures there. He is local and has very good knowledge about the area.

  The driver from Cool Guy David Tours who was assigned to take us from the cruise terminal at Ocho Rios to Dunns River Falls was wonderful, and told us a lot about Jamaica and its people. If we had more time and if my husband was feeling better, we would have loved to stay another day and book a private tour of the island. As it was, we only had the one tour booked through Viator, so we enjoyed the time with the driver and learned as much as we could. We will come back again in September and are hoping to book a longer tour with the same people! I highly recommend this tour driver. We felt very safe with him behind the wheel. Please note that it is only for transportation and 2 hours at Dunn's River Falls, and you will need to pay the $23 per person admission to the park - which includes a guide to help you safely climb the falls.
