With its profusion of canals and temples, Bangkok gained the name “Venice of the East.” Life along the river and waterways has become an integral part of the Thai lifestyle. Stop at the famous Temple of Dawn or Wat Arun. Its most attractive and conspicuous feature is the 79-meter-high Prang or pagoda which glitters from thousands of porcelain fragments.

5.00Great experience! Well paced and very informative. Saw many sights the average tourist does not see. Fabulous English speaking tour guide who was well versed and knowledgeable. Boat ride was the highlight and seeing the real Bangkok.

5.00Fantastic tour. You will see parts of Bangkok and local markets that tourists generally will not see. Our guide was excellent and she went out of her way to educate us about what we were seeing from the water and the history of Thailand. Well worth the money!

5.00The canals in Bangkok have a lock system that you have to navigate to enter the canals. Once inside you will see water monitors and the second largest Big Buddha in Thailand. Wat Arun is a must see. The four hour trip was perfect to see something and still have the rest of the day to do other things. Our guide was fantastic and took us to a great restaurant that was not part of the tour.
