The northeast Madeira half day tour begins at Faial, in this emblematic point, we have a landscape that impresses with its green hills and the blue sea. In this aspect, there is also the possibility to admire the rock of Penha de Águia.
Rising a few meters above, 900 meters, we have the Parque das Queimadas Park, with the typical thatched houses, contrasting with the extraordinary forest originally from Madeira.

5.00Richard and Duarte were amazing. We had our hearts set on doing the PR 1. We got to the top and it was pouring and freezing. It would have been miserable. We made the decision not to do the hike and were disappointed because this was the thing we were most looking g forward to. Richard snd Duarte came up with plan B and gave us an amazing tour of the island that was highly informative. They took us down some rarely travelled roads to incredible viewpoints. We did a hike to a ruins. The highlight was a hike along the coast which had the most incredible views. They were very accommodating with the change of plans due to weather (although they also would have stuck with our original plan had we wanted to). They even helped us with driving the next day so we were able to hike PR1. I highly recommend them!!!

5.00Beautiful north are of the island.it is very green and nice. The weather is different from south of Madeira. The company is well organised,they were on time and the guide is friendly and knowledgeable. I learnt a lot with him. I recommend.

5.00Im herę with my students in Erasmus exchange. We are enjoying this tour to discover madera, we love the amazing views, there are nice viewpoints,this island id beautifu. We love the organization of the company, they are very profesjonal and they także Carey very good of us.

5.00We had a wonderful half day tour, taking in Machico, Porto da Cruz and Santana, and of course the Engenhos do Norte rum factory. All interspersed with stunning views, and Richard’s knowledgeable and amusing commentary. The north side of the island is really worth the trip - much less developed than the south, and with spectacular roads and vistas at every turn. A really great trip!

5.00We booked this tour at the last minute but everything was handled quickly and efficently. Richard arrived on time in a clean and reliable car. He regaled us with stories of the island and took us to loads of hidden view points. The fact that they take pics of you and provide them for free is a real bonus. Would recommend Richard and the company for any tours.

5.00We booked a tour of the North East for 4 people with 2 days notice. Richard our guide arrived promptly at our hotel at our chosen time. He was a delightful chap. Being a local he was very knowledgable and informative and pointed out lots of things of interest along the way and stopped to let us take pictures. Richard was an excellent driver and nothing was too much trouble. The trips offer excellent value with a personal touch. They are thoroughly reliable and punctual. Thank you Richard - hope to see you again soon!
