5.00Our private family day trip to Sintra from Lisbon was unforgettable, thanks to driver and guide Tiago! From the start, he impressed us well-dressed, professional, and speaking slowly in simple English since we’re not natives. Tiago is nice, friendly, talkative and informative, he loves sharing history and backgrounds of every spot. His passion shone through! We’d shared our plans and expectations, but he totally exceeded them with lots of surprises. Highly recommend!

3.00All that is promised in this tour is impossible to deliver. We cut the Palácio Nacional e Jardins de Queluz and went directly to Sintra. There was barely enough time for lunch afterwards and a drive through of Cascais and no time to get out of the car. We even cut Cabo da Roca. It also seemed as though we basically had a driver and not a guide. Information at times was incorrect. Please be aware that Viator subcontracts these tours and the descriptions and what is actually delivered can be very different. I would suggest being very careful if booking through Viator.

5.00Bruno was amazing driver and guide. Shortly after I booked, they reached out to me and we planned our day. He was always there to pick us up, gave us good tips on what to expect say, at the Pena Palace, and easily communicated via WhatsApp. Well worth doing a private tour! I would not advise trying to do Sintra, Cascais, the coast by yourself! Great day!

5.00Tiago showed up early in a suit and impeccably clean Mercedes. From the moment we left to the time we returned he was full of energy with gentleman manners. His knowledge of the region and history rivals a scholar. He made learning about this beautiful country so much fun!! After getting to know us, he recommended hotels for us to stay and restaurants for us to eat at the next time we come to Portugal that are tailored to our taste. He was respectful and kind to my girlfriend. He never rushed us and all of his recommendations along the way were top-notch. I cannot say enough good things about this tour.

5.00Our driver and guide was Miguel. He was a very courteous, concerned and totally obliging host. As a driver he was exceedingly careful but confident. As a guide he was exceedingly well informed and was able to provide informed asides on most sites visited. He was careful to ensure we had whatever time we needed or desired at any site and never pushed or rushed us. A total professional. I rate him as outstanding. The vehicle was modern and well maintained.

5.00My tour guide, Tiago, gave me an historical, cultural, and contemporary view of not only Sintra, Cascais, and Lisbon but of all of Portugal. My private tour was expensive but worth every penny.
