Roman Temple Of Hercules

Built during the Roman period, around 162-166 AD, under the governorship of Geminius Marcianus, this impressive temple was dedicated to the demigod Hercules. It even surpasses in size any temple in Rome itself. Today, visitors can admire the remaining majestic columns and a colossal stone hand, thought to be part of a giant statue of Hercules that once graced this site.

We had a fantastic tour with Bardaghawi. We booked transportation only but we were assisted all the way. We were not rushed at anytime. Jordan is an amazing country! The people are warm and kind. Jerash was incredible. Visiting the old city was also amazing! 👌

Spent an excellent first day in Amman with our driver, Badar! His knowledge of Amman, Jordan and the region was second to none. We felt we learnt so much from our time with Badar. He was very accommodating, friendly and helped us with organising guides at sites and purchasing items. Highly recommend this tour and Badar!

Great day with our driver, Adnan! He had great communication prior to our day trip. The vehicle was spacious, comfortable and clean. He provided WiFi, water, candy and Kleenex’s for us. The sites were beautiful and Adnan gave us great information about the area.

Adnan was our driver and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. His English was very good and he was a great driver. We had plenty of time to see what we wanted to see and he was flexible when we had to change the time. Overall great day!

we had very limited time in a month so wanted to make the most of it. Our driver Adnan was on time and very knowledgeable about many subjects. He made the tour very educational as well as fun. We asked him many many questions and he was able to answer very intelligently and thoughtfully.We highly recommend and will request using Adnan again.!!
