5.00We were simply wowed by the experience, knowledge, and passion of our guide, Massimo “Max”. Both a citizen of Italy and US, he brought the holy door Rome experience to life. We would follow him anywhere! It was the highlight of our 3 week trip to Italy. It is a “Must” experience for historians and religion lovers alike. You won’t be disappointed.

5.00Massimo was a fabulous guide and historian. Probably the best we have ever had. Being bi-cultural (Italian and American) certainly helped. His Jubilee Holy sight tour was remarkably thorough and comprehensive. We are still discussing it 5 days later. We would follow him as a guide anywhere!

5.00Our tour guide Max was absolutely incredible He had a vast knowledge of all the sites we visited as well as the history of each of them. It was very informative so that when we went to visit the site, we knew exactly what we were looking at. We had the best day ever in Rome!

5.00This was an excellent tour. Not only was I taken to see places that I would never had a chance to see such as Chiesa del Gesù and the Abbey of the Three Fountains, Max also arranged for me to attend Mass at Maria Maggiore and for an English speaking tour of San Sebastiano catacombs at the last minute. He was very knowledgeable of the history of Rome including pre- and post-Christian eras. His knowledge of church history is encyclopaedic. He is an excellent driver and new exactly the best and most convenient places to park. He is very courteous and a pleasure to spend seven hours with.

5.00The Guys from Rome Private Excursions were GREAT!!!! We learned a lot about the Holy Doors of the Cathedrals. They took us to two additional holy sites in Rome. One was the Holy Steps and another contained some very important relics. They were on time and always pointed out interesting spots along the tour. I highly recommend this tour. Regis P. Kowalski

5.00We returned to the US after spending a week in Italy, with day excursions to 1) San Giovanni Padre Pio, 2) Sorrento, Positano in the Amalfi Coast, 3) Assisi and Orvieto. And boy, what an amazing experience we had using Rome Private Excursions. We were a group of 8, riding comfortably on a private Benz Sprinter van especially on those round trip long drives to our destination. The planning process was seamless, emailing back and forth with Luca, the manager and his associate Natalie, they respond timely and precise with the plan for the day. The drivers who were also “tour guides” gave us brief overview to our destination, we had Manny ( there are 2 Manny working for the company and both are excellent and professional) . We also used this company to transport us on arrival and departure to the airport. Very efficient and reliable agency. I would highly recommend using this agency if you’re planning to visit Italy, it’s worth your money if you do not want to join a group tour with more than 20 people. And I would certainly use them again when I visit Italy.
