After visiting this district, you will also have the chance to visit the ancient city of Carthage which has ancient monuments offering a superb view of the surrounding coast. After visiting this UNESCO-listed archaeological site, you'll continue to Sidi Bou Said, a picturesque blue-and-white village overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Medina of Tunis
this sprawling labyrinth of ancient streets and alleys is one of the most impressive medieval medinas in North Africa and one of Tunisia's great treasures. It's home to numerous covered souks selling everything from shoes to shisha, as well as bustling cafes, alleyways full of artisans at work, and residential areas punctuated by large, brightly painted doorways. Historic palaces, hammams, mosques and madrassas (schools for the study of the Koran) are scattered throughout, many are richly decorated with tiles, carved stucco and marble columns.

5.00A tour is only as good as its guide…and our guide today, Ahmed, was phenomenal. He was a wealth of knowledge and very personable. He catered to what we wanted for the tour and pivoted to personalize the tour as we went. He was punctual and to be honest, the tour was incredibly well priced. I would’ve paid double for the quality that we received.

5.00I had the most amazing experience with our Tunisia tour guide, Baligh! He taught us so much about the history of the area and explained everything in such an engaging and easy-to-understand way. We visited so many different sites around town, and each stop felt meaningful because of the stories and context he shared. On top of that, he was SO funny… we were laughing all day! His sense of humor made the tour even more enjoyable, and his kindness and warmth truly stood out. The weather was beautiful, which made everything even better. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Tunisia!

5.00I had a great day! My driver, Rabii, was very attentive snd took me to the sites. He also provided tips on how to best see the sites, even he was not chosen to be a guide. He even surprised me with a tuna sandwich. I highly recommend this tour!

5.00What a wonderful day!! We could not have been more pleased with our day tour to Carthage. Boubou was an excellent guide! We were very grateful to be with someone so knowledgeable and friendly! Malak, our driver did an excellent job driving us between the sites. The Bardo museum was so incredibly impressive. It was a pleasure having a delicious lunch in fun company. We ended our day extremely pleased with our choice of tours.

4.00Our guide, Chaouki, was very nice, informative, and easy to understand. And our driver was amazing, maneuvering through narrow streets and traffic. Although there were some accommodations made due to the weather, we would have liked to know what the general itinerary and timeline was going to be for the day, including planned bathroom stops. It also would have been preferable to have lunch more in the middle of the 6-8 hour tour, rather than having to wait until the end. A restaurant choice closer to the sites of interest would have been more convenient and could have been worked into the schedule, instead of travelling to the other end of town after a long period of touring.

5.00Fame was a great guide - accommodating to our preferences and interests while also very well informed historically. Rabi was a terrific driver, patiently waiting for us and courteously opening car doors for us whenever we entered and exited the car. An extremely enjoyable day exploring Tunis — highly recommend!!
