After visiting this UNESCO-listed archaeological site, you'll continue to Sidi Bou Said, a picturesque blue-and-white village overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Medina of Tunis

this sprawling labyrinth of ancient streets and alleys is one of the most impressive medieval medinas in North Africa and one of Tunisia's great treasures. It's home to numerous covered souks selling everything from shoes to shisha, as well as bustling cafes, alleyways full of artisans at work, and residential areas punctuated by large, brightly painted doorways. Historic palaces, hammams, mosques and madrassas (schools for the study of the Koran) are scattered throughout, many are richly decorated with tiles, carved stucco and marble columns.

Very good roundtrip in Tunis/Khartago. Difficult to do on your own without a guide. Off season=few tourist was an extra plus. Very good guide and driver.

A full day tour that covers all the main attractions in Tunis the city. It was made even more special by our tour guide Ms Eiman. She has an exceptional background in the history of the country as a local and a teacher. She made the trip that covered the city, old Madina, coffee shop overlooking the old city, lunch at seafood restaurant, 3 different sites in Carthage and Sidi Bo Saeed all the more special.

This was an excellent tour. We very efficiently covered all the main sites of Tunis in one day but never felt rushed. It would have taken us 2-3 days to do this all on our own and we wouldn’t have gotten as much out of it. Fahmi (not sure about spelling) was a fantastic guide who was very friendly and knowledgeable and always had interesting and funny stories to tell us. It was especially great to have a guide for the Bardo museum to show us the highlights and explain their significance. The lunch at a local (not touristy) restaurant was excellent and fresh. I also have to mention our great driver Melek who expertly navigated Tunis’s traffic.

Went on this excursion through our Tui hotel from Sousse. The general experience was good. Coach arrived on time and we had a very knowledgeable tour guide, Mohammed who provided in-depth historical information throughout the tour and kept checking everyone was okay! The only downside for me, was the Lunch! We were taken to a dark, dirty restaurant called Les 3 Marins. The food there was awful to say the least and their drinks were overly priced (even for tourists). Tui should consider finding a different restaurant for lunch as this ruined what was otherwise a great day out

Ahmed was a very good guide. Very good and clear explanation. Despite the request of the ship, he also kept waiting for us to do the tour.

My husband and I did the full day “just us” tour from the La Goulette cruise ship terminal and the pick up was very easy. The driver was friendly and drove calmly thru the many areas we visited. The restaurant we were taken to was so much better than I expected! We were completely unfamiliar with Tunisian food, but everything tasted great and the portions were very generous. I am saving the best part for last- our guide! He was absolutely amazing. I had a few minor requests and he was so friendly and accommodating!

They describe this as "Private tour," but it is really a small group tour. We were not the only ones; there were 3 other couples. We originally booked this thinking it was private because we walk slowly and thought that would suit us better than trying to keep up with a group. Our guide walked with those who were at the front and only looked back occasionally to see if we were still following. Of course we didn't hear anything unless the group stopped. Because so many stops were planned and our group was from a ship, we asked the guide to eliminate a stop after lunch so we could be sure to return to the ship on time. He said he couldn't skip anything that was promised. The Bardo Museum was the best stop; the Roman mosaics were stunning. We did return to the ship on time, but some of us were concerned about getting stuck in traffic. Lunch took too much time and was not to everyone's taste. A quick stop for a snack might have sufficed.
