5.00Our wonderful driver, Alan W Lee, picked us up at our VRBO, the Rickhouse Retreat in Bardstown, on time and ready to go with a clean, large SUV along with cold water and snacks. He drove us to four different distilleries, telling us interesting tidbits of info along the route. Our first stop was Maker’s Mark, where we got to dip our own bottle into the wax. Next was Heaven Hills, where we had a great lunch and tasting event. After lunch to Jim Bean. What a beautiful campus and distillery, plus a really interesting history. And of course, bourbon. Alan had the SUV waiting for us as we exited the building, and safely stored our goodies. He then drove us to a very special distillery, Preservation Distillery; it is small, woman owned distillery. It is wonderful! We made it safely after another driver came around a curve in the middle of the road: high excitement! Alan got us there in one piece, and we are glad he did. A great driver! Ask for him if going to Bardstown.

5.00I had a fantastic day on the Angels and Outlaws tour with Pegasus Tours. Our guide, George, was an excellent host, sharing great stories and interesting information about bourbon and local history. I enjoyed every minute, both at the distilleries and during the rides between stops. The driver was also friendly and professional. All the distillery visits were excellent, both the presentations and the tastings. My personal favorite was Angel's Envy Distillery. What made the day truly special was the atmosphere in the group. I came alone but still had a wonderful time with the other participants. My expectations were mainly about learning more about bourbon, but the tour offered much more — great people and a fantastic vibe. As a visitor from Sweden with English as a second language, everything was easy to follow and understand. I highly recommend this tour to anyone curious about bourbon and Louisville. Big thanks to George, the driver, and all the fellow participants for a wonderful day.

5.00Bob and Andy were fabulous, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They were so fun to tour with, and I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to experience the Bourbon Trail.

5.00We had a great time! Keith was our Pegasus host, and he was very knowledgeable of bourbon and the bourbon industry. I learned a lot from him as well as the guides at each place we visited. Ronald, our driver. was great as well. Pegasus was definitely a five star experience. Lots of snacks, soft drinks and water on the bus as well. I would recommend to friends!

5.00Honestly, this experience wouldn’t have been the same without Keith. Starting at the Frazier History Museum, he brought the history to life in a way that felt natural and engaging, not scripted. At Heaven Hill Distillery, his knowledge and easygoing style made the visit feel personal and relaxed. By the time we finished at James B. Beam Distillery, it felt less like a tour and more like spending the day with someone who genuinely loves what he does and wants you to love it too. Keith made the day effortless, memorable, and truly special. 🥃
