South of Sydney past Wollongong, the coastline shifts to volcanic headlands, sea cliffs, and uncrowded beaches. This private tour is tailored to your group, with Greg as your guide.
Visit Kiama and hear the boom of ocean water surging into a chamber and the surrounding air becoming compressed. If the seas are up enjoy the exhilarating view of sea water blasting out of the blowhole high into the air (up to 25 metres). We then head around the corner to the little blowhole for some more salt water action.
Next stop are the unique basalt columns of Bombo Headland and the Stack Island at Minnamurra.
Next stop is the impressively engineered Sea Cliff Bridge which curves around the surrounding sea cliffs.
In the afternoon the Royal National Park provides a few choices including Wattamolla waterfall, a coastal walk, or a visit to Symbio Wildlife Park.
The itinerary will be adjusted to match your interests and walking preferences. A delicious picnic lunch is included.

Kiama Blowhole
Blowholes are sometimes referred to as marine geysers and are a rare geological feature. The Kiama blowhole is an intriguing place. As you wait for a wave to pass through the connected sea cave an air of anticipation arises. When a loud swoosh is heard a high pressured release of sea water occurs in the form of a spectacular spray. Just to make sure you get your fill of blowholes we visit a second contrasting blowhole which shoots a more stylish seawater plume. Sydney is fortunate to have such a wonderful natural entertainment system within a 2 hour drive.
Bombo Headland
The Bombo Headland Geological Site is a former quarry which contains remnants of many broken rocks. Basalt lava columns still remain in certain parts of the former quarry providing a surreal site against the background of the ocean. Photographers love this place!

5.00I booked two tours with Greg as a solo traveller. I booked onto the Royal National Park tour initially and Greg was super helpful in planning the itinerary for the day, not only ensuring we fitted in the walk to Eagle Rock but also making sure we saw several other points throughout the afternoon. The walk was taken at my own pace and Greg provided information on the surroundings and the history. Greg found a nice spot for us to have lunch and prepared this in front of me, which was a lovely feature not had on other tours. The second tour I booked was the South Coast tour, there is a lot of driving for this tour due to the distance from Sydney, however, Greg broke this up with a couple of stops before arriving at the Kiama Blowholes. We weren't blessed with good weather on this day unfortunately so our itinerary needed to be flexible, Greg suggested other ideas to ensure that we didn't waste any of the day and we got the most out of the Blowholes and cliffs. We had lunch overlooking a beach which was lovely! Greg took photos on both tours which was also a highlight, they came out much better than some of the ones on my phone and also meant that I could take in the scenery more. From the initial enquiry all the way through to both tours being complete, Greg was extremely helpful, being honest with what was manageable within each day tour and what extras we could include. Greg has a wealth of knowledge relevant to both tours and was great company! I am extremely happy that I booked with Sydney Nimble Tours and these were two of the highlights for my time in Sydney! I would highly recommend Greg and Sydney Nimble Tours if looking to do either of these activities.
