5.00Micaela was everything we could ask for in a guide. Professional but warm and friendly Presentation was clear and concise, very knowledgeable. We did 2 tours with her. Borromeo and lake orta. She also organized a winery tour for us. Definitely made the stay extra special! Cant say enough.

5.00Had an enjoyable and informative walking tour around Orta San Giulio and the island. Great to learn the history of the area and how things changed and developed. Micaela was great at answering our questions and the whole tour was conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner. Highly recommend booking if you are in the area.

5.00Our tour with Micaela was amazing! Our tours on Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta were the best tour experiences of our trip to Italy. Micaela arranged transportation from Stresa and a beautiful lunch on the lake before our tour. Afterwards we had a great time learning the history and seeing the sights of Orta San Giulio with Micaela. Her depth of knowledge is impressive, and the tour was fun and informative. We definitely recommend!!!

5.00The views and scenery was amazing, the walks around the island are so enjoyable, cobbled streets architecture, many places to stop and eat, and enjoy the views it is paradise, Isola Bella was for us the most stunning of the Islands, we visited them all over two days.

She is very professional, kind and enjoyable, sharing her extreme knowledge of this area with such enthusiasm. We also went to Sacro Monte on the way to Orta and San Guilio. This was a special treat. 5.00Me and my partly foreign colleagues for work at Lake Orta took a private boat excursion accompanied by guide Micaela. 15 people enthusiastic about this experience especially thanks to Micaela who with her passion and knowledge made us discover very interesting things about the island of San Giulia and the lake that otherwise we would never have known. She is very knowledgeable and passionate guide with excellent English who showed us parts of the area that we would never be able to discover on our own! 5.00Our day in Orta San Giulio with Micaela turned to be a highlight of our 10 days in the Italian Lakes. Micaela arranged for her husband David to drive us there and back from our base in Stresa, as well as to drive us to the top of the Sacro Monte, which was an unexpected pleasure. Micaela’s explanations there as well as on the San Giulio island gave us a real appreciation of the history and significance of this special place. The village itself is lovely, and we enjoyed a lakeside lunch before Micaela’s private tour. She is truly a gifted guide and a charming, kind person. Book as early as you can, since Micaela is rightfully in high demand.

5.00Micaela is terrific. Her husband picked us up at our hotel in Stresa and drove us to Lake Orta. Both speak very good English.
