During your journey, you will make a 3-hour sightseeing stop in Mondsee, where you can explore at your own pace. St Gilgen
During your journey, you will make a 3-hour sightseeing stop in St. Gilgen, where you can explore at your own pace. This charming lakeside village on the shores of Lake Wolfgang (Wolfgangsee) is known for its postcard-perfect scenery and musical heritage. Stroll through the historic town center, visit the Mozart House, where the composer’s mother was born, and browse quaint shops and cafés nestled among colorful alpine buildings. 5.00We had a wonderful experience with Daniel for our private tour. He picked us from our hotel in Salzburg and was really friendly all the time. He spoke good English and had a good knowledge about the places we were visiting. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Daniel for a private tour to lake Mondee and Mt Gilgin.

4.00This village does not deserve too much attention in the guidebooks and was a surprise: it is located on the edge of Lake Wolfgansee; it lends itself to the relaxed walk between picturesque streets, unique buildings, manicured gardens and a varied hotel and restaurant offer.

5.00What a great day spent looking at the lakes and visiting the beautiful towns! If you like water sports you can rent them in St Gilgen! The cable car to the top is a must do! I am scared of heights (really ledges that I could fall to my death) but had no problems with this! It was amazing and thank you to our driver for encouraging me to do it!

5.00Michael was an excellent driver and very flexible with our requests. The private tour we booked included Mondsee. However we had already toured Mondsee the day before. He suggested we visit Berchtesgadener Land district of Bavaria in Germany. It was absolutely lovely and the perfect way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary!

4.00I could not possibly recommend our driver/tour guide, Bernd more. He made our trip incredible from the second he picked us up at our dock (Viking River Cruise, which got changed due to river levels. I contacted company and they made changes with no problems, it was seamless) to the second he dropped us off. We saw so much more than the excursion the ship provided. We figured we would probably never be in Salzburg again and really wanted to maximize our time and with Bernie, we did. We saw so many of the scenes from the Sound of Music, the lake area, the main street in Salzburg, the best sausage sandwich we ever had to the chapel where Silent Night was written. Bernie was so knowledgeable about everything we saw and had an answer to every question. We will be using this company again and again.
