  Very relaxing start with "breakfast" tasting and some vodka ☺️ be sure not to eat anything if your tour starts at 10:00. Ilona was fluent in english and a very good comunicator about the City, food, drinks and recommendations to restaurants and experiences. Higly recomended tour and guide. 10/10.

  Excellent tour with Hanna . She introduced all the food and drinks,took us to local places and was friendly and pleasant. We really enjoyed trying all the Polish food and drinks. A great tour with a great guide. Would definitely recommend.

  We had a fantastic time exploring Krakow’s local food scene! Our guide, Ilona, took excellent care of us and introduced us to a variety of delicious traditional dishes, sharing the stories and traditions behind each one. It was a wonderful and authentic experience — highly recommended!

  This was the best tour that I’ve had the pleasure of doing. Ilona is such a sweety and SO knowledgeable. This wasn’t booked as a private tour but actually as I was the only one it was!!! The food was so very authentic and tasty and I loved all the bars and restaurants - really quirky. The portions were just right too. Ilona was able to adapt the local information to my needs - less dates and historical facts, more culture and social history. Really enjoyed every minute. Ilona - thank you.

  Probably the best guide I’ve ever had! We visited several hidden local spots that I never would have found on my own. I highly recommend adding the alcohol package—it’s worth it for the extra drinks and shots along the way. At first, it was just Ilona and me, and I was a little nervous, but after walking around and enjoying her company, it turned out to be one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. The private, intimate feel made it even more special. Ilona is a true local—born in Poland, spent time in the U.S., and then returned—so her English is flawless, which is great for American travelers. She shared so many great recommendations and even stayed after the tour to give me extra tips on where to go next. This was my very first Secret Food Tour, and it exceeded every expectation. Highly, highly recommend booking with Ilona—you’ll have an unforgettable experience!

  I loved this tour with Ilona! Ilona was super lovely and a great host with lots of interesting information about the food and the areas in Krakow. The food was delicious and a great way to sample local food as a solo traveler when it can be hard sometimes to have enough appetite to try a lot of food myself eating out! Highly recommend, and thank you Ilona for the wonderful experience :)

  We had the most amazing experience with the wonderful Ilona. She took us to all of the best local spots around krakow and we wouldn’t have known about those places or tried the delicious food without going on this tour! She was knowledgable about the history around the city and provided us with information around all the sights we passed. We wouldn’t have known half as much as what we did without going on this tour! Let’s not forget the food… the food was amazing! We tried a different range from breakfasts, snacks, dinner and of course the booze!   My family and I had an incredible time with our guide Ilona on our secret food tour. This was the second food tour on a trip with my wife, my brother and his wife, and my cousin. Ilona was very knowledgeable but also down to earth. The places she took us too were all really tasty and exemplary, and definitely surpassed other food tours I’ve taken elsewhere in Poland or on other trips. We also had a lovely time getting to know Ilona and the small set of other folks in our tour group. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

  Loved our experience with Secret Food Tours! Besides all the delicious food you also get a great tour of the city! Ask for Ilona if you go! She was the best and gave us tons of other recommendation for the rest of our time in Krakow!

  Ilona gave us a very good tour experiencing the typical Polish food. We not only got (a lot) of good food, but Ilona provided useful and fun information and facts about the city as well. Definitely recommend!
