On our Secret Food Tour: Krakow, you'll explore our rich history of royal feasts and simple fare, with family stories told around the table. Each of the traditional, delicious dishes are prepared with high-quality ingredients and served by welcoming, hospitable locals.
Enjoy traditional Polish dishes, starting from the Jewish quarter with its incredible squares, cafes and food. You won't miss the authentic Pierogi, local sausage and soup, smoked sheep cheese and a shot of a famous local flavoured vodka in a super cool bar; our secret dish will guarantee you will fall in love with the city of Krakow.
As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

5.00This was the best tour that I’ve had the pleasure of doing. Ilona is such a sweety and SO knowledgeable. This wasn’t booked as a private tour but actually as I was the only one it was!!! The food was so very authentic and tasty and I loved all the bars and restaurants - really quirky. The portions were just right too. Ilona was able to adapt the local information to my needs - less dates and historical facts, more culture and social history. Really enjoyed every minute. Ilona - thank you.

5.00Probably the best guide I’ve ever had! We visited several hidden local spots that I never would have found on my own. I highly recommend adding the alcohol package—it’s worth it for the extra drinks and shots along the way. At first, it was just Ilona and me, and I was a little nervous, but after walking around and enjoying her company, it turned out to be one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. The private, intimate feel made it even more special. Ilona is a true local—born in Poland, spent time in the U.S., and then returned—so her English is flawless, which is great for American travelers. She shared so many great recommendations and even stayed after the tour to give me extra tips on where to go next. This was my very first Secret Food Tour, and it exceeded every expectation. Highly, highly recommend booking with Ilona—you’ll have an unforgettable experience!

5.00I loved this tour with Ilona! Ilona was super lovely and a great host with lots of interesting information about the food and the areas in Krakow. The food was delicious and a great way to sample local food as a solo traveler when it can be hard sometimes to have enough appetite to try a lot of food myself eating out! Highly recommend, and thank you Ilona for the wonderful experience :)
Don’t hesitate to book this up! It’s a must if you’re going to Krakow!

5.00We had the most amazing experience with the wonderful Ilona. She took us to all of the best local spots around krakow and we wouldn’t have known about those places or tried the delicious food without going on this tour! She was knowledgable about the history around the city and provided us with information around all the sights we passed. We wouldn’t have known half as much as what we did without going on this tour! Let’s not forget the food… the food was amazing! We tried a different range from breakfasts, snacks, dinner and of course the booze! If you’re thinking of booking this up, don’t hesitate!

5.00My family and I had an incredible time with our guide Ilona on our secret food tour. This was the second food tour on a trip with my wife, my brother and his wife, and my cousin. Ilona was very knowledgeable but also down to earth. The places she took us too were all really tasty and exemplary, and definitely surpassed other food tours I’ve taken elsewhere in Poland or on other trips. We also had a lovely time getting to know Ilona and the small set of other folks in our tour group. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone!

5.00Ilona made this Secret Food Tour the highlight of my entire trip to Poland -- maybe even my entire European itinerary. Her knowledge of Polish cuisine and local food culture is exceptional. She knows every story behind every dish and clearly has amazing taste (she even knows her way around Michelin restaurants 😉). This was one of the first tours on my 3 week adventure and honestly hitting the high point so soon was funny because all my other tours paled in comparison! What made this tour special wasn't just the fantastic food at authentic local spots, but Ilona's infectious enthusiasm and genuine passion for sharing her city. She has this incredible ability to make you feel like you're exploring with a friend rather than just following a guide. The time flew by because Ilona is such engaging company - funny, knowledgeable, and clearly loves what she does. By the end, I felt like I truly understood Krakow's food culture and had discovered some amazing local gems I never would have found on my own. If you're visiting Krakow, do yourself a favor and book this tour. Ask for Ilona specifically - she's probably the best tour guide in Europe. Trust me on this one!

5.00My first food tour and it far exceeded expectations. Far better than any other type of tour because we got to meet some interesting and friendly people. Our guide, Ilona was knowledgeable and pleasant and had a great sense of humor. I will definitely do food tours in the future. Although they say your first time is the best, I hope that I'm not already spoiled when it comes to the future. A wonderful experience. Highly recommended.👍👍👍👍👍🍻
