  Sonny had everything arranged so that we never had to wait anywhere to eat with our group of 8. He was funny and told us great information about the Czech culture involving food, holidays and daily life.   Really enjoyable experience. Our guide Soner (or Sonny) was lovely. Great to try real Czech food and learn a bit more about the city as well. The food was fairly plain, typical of the culture but was certainly tasty. Tried some local beer, wine and soft drinks.

  Soner did a great job introducing us to the history of Prague and family culture through its food. The variety of restaurants was great. Soner also loves to cook and his enthusiasm and knowledge showed.

  Soner was an excellent tour guide. we had the opportunity to taste different Czech cuisine. The dishes were all different and my children enjoyed most of them! I would recommend Soner as a guide as he was very knowledgeable and attentative to our family's preferences.

  This was my second excursion with Secret Food Tours and they have both been so good. Soner was our guide for the Prague tour and he was delightful. We went to a variety of restaurants and taverns and he explained so much about Prague and Bohemia culture and food. He loves to cook himself and is enthusiastic about sharing culture and history of the area. I had a great experience and highly recommend.

  Soner (Sonny) led us on an amazing food tour around Prague, teaching us about Czech life and traditions, history and of course the food! He was funny and delightful, always answered our questions and even ended the tour with great suggestions of where else to visit and see in Prague. Our group of 8 people agreed this was the absolute best food tour they have ever done, anywhere. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to eat delicious Czech food and learn about the culture at the same time.

  We did the Secret Food Tour with Soner on Friday, 13th February, and from the moment we met him in the square we instantly connected. Soner is incredibly passionate about his city and shared his knowledge in such an engaging and enthusiastic way. He took his time explaining each dish we tried and also recommended great places to visit and eat. We were a group of 14, which Soner mentioned was larger than normal, but it made absolutely no difference to the experience. Everything felt relaxed, well organised, and personal. We met some wonderful people from New York, California, and Newcastle — including a couple we are still in contact with. A really thoughtful touch was that Soner brought pastries from a deli on his way to meet us, which we thought was lovely. Thank you again, Soner, for making our tour so informative, enjoyable, and memorable. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

• Njce Introduction to Prague

  I’d previously done one of these tours in Edinburgh and enjoyed it, and so thought I’d try one in Prague. I think there was less to eat and drink on this one, more so because we were sharing meals as opposed to having individual portions but it was still enough. The website did indicate we’d start by sampling an open faced sandwich too but I don’t recall having this as the soups were our first stop. Sonny was our guide and he was really engaging, and easy to talk to. We had a small group of 6 and everyone integrated well. We also got to see the John Lennon wall and had a few other photo opportunities which helped create more memories.
