  Since we were interested in a holiday destination for a relaxing seaside holiday, but also to experience and see the beauty and diversity of Portugal, we chose Sesimbra, on the Setúbal Peninsula, in the region of Lisabon. It was the best decision we made because the beauty of this place convinces by a lot of tradition, beautiful scenery, excellent restaurants, perfect beaches for all occasions, coves, cliffs and worth seeing buildings. But for this we absolutely must express our sincere thanks to Francisco Texugo and his company Badger, which organizes many tours among others. Francisco made us fall in love with Sesimbra through his professionalism, warmth, punctuality, flexibility. Francisco makes you feel like you're among old friends you always like to meet, and at Sesimbra very comfortable. See you again, dear Francisco!🤗🙏

  I spent, together with my girlfriend, more than a week in Portugal, a fabulously beautiful country, in Sesimbra, a resort not as well known as others, but absolutely gorgeous. And to make everything like in fairy tales, from the Badger agency appeared, like a genie from Aladdin's lamp, Francisco, the one who made our vacation twice as beautiful. We went with him on three tours, the Sesimbra area, Sintra, including Pena Castle and Capo de Roca and, of course, Lisbon. With patience, kindness, competence and being a true encyclopedia, Francisco took and showed us wild places, hidden beaches, surprising beauties, castles and representative monuments. It was a superb incursion into deep and traditional Portugal. And most importantly, we felt like an old friend, who lives in Portugal, took us to show us the fabulous beauties of this country. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, dear Francisco, for the discovery of this beautiful country, as well as for the warmth that made us feel like we had a new friend. We will definitely come back!

  This is my third time visiting Sesimbra and my third time using Badger Tours, Francisco has now become more of a friend as he knows my family very well, the service he provides is second to none, always professional, always polite and always punctual. Nothing is too much for him and he always manages to accommodate for changes in plans which is very reassuring. See you in 2025 !!!! Rashi

  Francisco was very attentive and knowledgeable, we truly enjoyed the tour and seeing all the wonderful places he has shown us. Would definitely recommend and would book again with this company.

  My daughter and I had a wonderful tour with Francisco. It was our first time in Portugal and he managed to show the jewels of Sesimbra area & answer questions. Would definitely recommend to book a tour with the company. Next time- wine tastings:)

  Thanks to Francisco for this unforgettable tour. Everything was top notch, the sensational beaches, the very personal wine tasting, the incomparable views from above the cliffs, but above all the detailed explanations from Francisco.   I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with knowledgeable Francisco of Badger Tours in Sesimbra. He shared his love of Sesimbra and surroundings with a small group of 3 people only. It was wonderful and an afternoon well spent where I made new friends. Aside from taking in breathtaking landscapes and scenery, we had a blast at a small family-owned winery in Azeitao... I learned a lot about the production of Moscatel wine which I thought I didn't like because it's too sweet generally. I learned that it's only sweet when it's bottled too early! Francisco took extra time with us and even waited for us while we picked up a few groceries! This while he had a family commitment right after he finished our tour.   We had a very old and dear friend visiting from Ireland and we wanted to show her the beauty of this part of Portugal. We could not think of any company which could ever better Badger Tours in this respect. We have never been disappointed. Francisco guided us that morning and his relaxed and friendly way helps so much in bringing out the greatest possible pleasure from a tour. He gave us a trip which not only surpassed our expectations but showed us things that even we, having lived here 5 years now, have never seen. The castle at Sesimbra is very interesting, not swamped with crowds of tourists and affords spectacular views over Sesimbra below and to the north as far as the River Tejo and beyond. Cabo Espichel show the dramatice coastline we have here, its old monastery and church, and the tranquil setting for a walk by the cliffs and a cake and drink so much a part of living in Portugal. The beaches were beautiful. Miles of lovely golden sand and a lagoon opened to the sea once a year and then closed off again. How this is managed goodness only knows. These beaches are not so well known as those at Caparica or Cascais, but are, in our view, far more enticing to the sun worshipper. We were dropped off in Sesimbra where Badger Tours are based, This lovely seaside town boasts a nice beach and fort mid way along the beach with a museum and excellent restaurant. We sat under awnings gently having cool spray put into the air whilst we ate and drank. Superb !!! In all our tours and transfers with Badger Tours we have had the highest grade of care and service. We cannot recommend them too much. We recently have even used them for long distance travel to the Algarve and the comfort their vehicles afford is wonderful. They can tailor make tours to suit your needs and we feel their prices are very reasonable considering what you receive. All their personnel are friendly and speak english which is a bonus for anyone coming from Britain, Ireland, the USA ore any other english speaking country. All we can say is you will be excellently pleased with what this company can give you in whatever service you need. And, you will get to know a little less known but spectacular part of Portugal
