We will start at Mercado dos Lavradores, an important reference to all of those visiting us. It is our main local farm market where we find regional products for the taste of all tourist wanting the necessary tranquility for shopping. We will continue in the Old Town walking and seeing a bit of story of the first settlers and how Madeira become an important place throughout the centuries.

We will also visit Churchill Viewpoint with a privileged view over Camara de Lobos, the famous British prime minister from the 2nd World War was here in Madeira and we will show you where he stayed and where he painted his famous painting of Camara de Lobos.

We finish our tour at the Ruins of Ponte dos Socorridos once one of the major bridges connecting the city of Funchal from the West side of the Island.

Marco was a very knowledgeable guide. He was able to provide so much history about the island of Madeira. I liked that the tour took me out of Funchal and to parts of Madeira where I never would have ventured out on my own. Once the tour ended, he offered to extend the tour and visit yet another site. Another plus, he recommended an excellent restaurant in Old Town Funchal which was amazing.

Excellent day with Enterprise Pearl. The guide was exceptional and very attentive with all the elements of the activity. I recommend this agency for those who want to visit Madeira.

Richard promptly met us at the cruise terminal. We enjoyed the combination of a walking/driving tour of Funchal and Camara de Lobos, stopping for a Poncha and Nikita at a local establishment. We would recommend Richard without hesitation.

Excellent tour in company of the Enterprise guide. The historical and cultural explanations are very accurate. The Enterprise at this stage of COVID-19 has met all safety standards. By being a private Service we feel safe. I recommend.

I was with my friends who came to Madeira Island for business. We hired this Enterprise through our other acquaintances. It really was a brilliant choice. We took a tour of the historic area of Funchal.The guide was brilliant at all levels.

I thoroughly enjoyed Richard and the half day private tour. He was highly informative, very factual and entertaining. I was treated to fantastic viewpoints, aqueducts and an ancient bridge. We visited a lovely coastal fishing village, local church and restaurants offering their historic drinks! I would highly recommend Pearl of the Atlantic for a memorable tour of Madeira!
