The Langkawi Cable Car, also known as Langkawi SkyCab, is a gondola lift and one of the major attractions in Langkawi Island, Kedah, Malaysia. It provides an aerial link from the Oriental Village at Teluk Burau to the peak of Gunung Machinchang, which is also the location of the Langkawi Sky Bridge. The ride affords a view of the surrounding forest, the Telaga Tujuh waterfall, as well as the sea. From the top station, there is an inclinator called SkyGlide and a mountain route that allow access to the Langkawi Sky Bridge. There are two viewing platforms at the top of Machincang mountain, and other amenities.

The Langkawi Skycab Cable Car is a must-visit attraction in Langkawi whether you’re visiting with friends or family. Ride through the eastern cliffs of Mt. Machinchang and see its lush forests from above. Challenge yourself by opting for a glass-bottom floor gondola and feel the adrenaline as you hop aboard the cable car with one of the steepest slopes in the world. Arrive at Langkawi's second highest peak, Mt. Machinchang, in just a few minutes! Go up 708m above sea level to catch views of Langkawi town, the entire archipelago and Southern Thailand.

Langkawi Sky Bridge

Measuring at 125m in length, the structure ranks among the world’s longest curve suspension bridge and constructing it was not an easy feat as the solutions had to factor the following critical elements; structural balancing from a single point (top of the pylon), optimal weight management and load distribution, pre-fabrication of bridge and on site installation. The entire bridge, in all its elements had to be lifted to the top of the mountain by helicopter and was later assembled to its current position. Price for SkyBridge is RM6.00 for adult and RM4.00 for children. Currently, ticket can be purchased at SkyBridge Ticketing Counter at Top Station.

Great trip around Langkawi with Zaidi, he was so accomodating and knowledgeable. We spent 2 + hours at the Sky Park which was brilliant and a lovely chill time at the beach. Calm & peaceful day, just what was needed. Thank you

We had an excellent 1 day tour of Langkawi with Faez who used his local knowledge to provide us with a smooth and pleasant trip around this beautiful island . We were collected from our cruise ship and taken to the cable car and sky bridge with tickets included. The view was stunning! After that Faez drove us to a great seafront restaurant and then to beautiful Tanjan Rhu beach before returning us in good time for our onward journey. Timings were tailored to suit our needs and I would highly recommend this tour to independent travellers .

Monitor the weather forecast and be prepared for potential closures of the SkyBridge or other attractions. Purchasing tickets online can save time and potentially reduce waiting times. Dont waste money on Express Lane you will maximum save 10-15 minutes overall, not really worth it.

Really good tour. The waterfall and a beautiful deserted beach. The cable car and sky bridge are a must do on any visit to Langkawi and don't disappoint. Knowledgeable and informative guide.

The driver was very accommodating and bent over backwards to make sure we had a good time. He had good information, and we appreciated his flexible and happy attitude. We did not feel that we were tied to a fixed schedule. Highly recommend it.

Driver was very polite, respectful, safe and reliable for pickups. We asked him to take us to a restaurant/ bar for lunch at Tanjung Rhu Beach and he was very obliging. The water was amazing, and the beach bar was perfect for a cool drink. The tour advertised the Kilim Geoforest Park, however the minimum boat ride was 2 hours, so it was not possible to do after the cable car, Sky Bridge and beach. Maybe this needs to be clear in the advertisment. Whilst our driver was lovely, this tour would have been even better with a guide to tell us about the locations, scenery, lifestyle and attractions. A great day for a group of 12 friends.

Good value trip. Covered a lot of activities and highly recommend the Sky Cab, Sky Bridge and 3D Art Museum. Give the Sky Dome a miss unless you have kids under 7. Our guide/driver Zaidi was very knowledgeable about Langkawi and a great guy.

It was a fantastic day with our tour guide Zaidi. He was prompt picking us up and keep in touch with us via what’s app and his English is great. We discussed our days options with the time we had and headed out! He was telling us everything about Langkawi which was very interesting. He was very flexible with change in the itinerary. He told us what was the best things to see and explain why and what to skip. I usually don’t give out 5 star but Zaidi is a 5!! I can’t tell you about the other tour guides but if you ask for Zaidi you will get a wonderful day and learn a lot!

To do absolutely, a magnificent view You should not have the phobia of heights because it is very high.
