From the terrace, you can see the turquoise waters of the Rijeka Dubrovačka bay stretching out in front of you. The bay is surrounded by steep cliffs and rocky hills, covered in lush Mediterranean vegetation. On the right side of the bridge, you can see the new city of Dubrovnik, Lapad and cruise ship terminal in the Port Gruž. On the left side of the bridge, you can see the rolling hills of the Dubrovnik countryside, dotted with small villages and olive groves. In the distance, you can see the majestic Mount Srđ, which offers another spectacular viewpoint of the city. Overall, the view from the terrace of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Bridge is a perfect combination of natural beauty and historic charm, offering a unique perspective on one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Medjugorje

Medjugorje gained worldwide recognition in 1981 when six young people claimed to have had apparitions of the Virgin Mary. The apparitions have continued to this day, and the town has become a pilgrimage site for Catholics who seek spiritual renewal and healing. The town is known for its peaceful and serene atmosphere, with its rolling hills and scenic countryside providing a beautiful backdrop for spiritual reflection. Visitors can participate in daily masses, confession, and adoration, as well as attend talks and conferences on the Catholic faith. The main attraction of Medjugorje is the Apparition Hill, where the Virgin Mary first appeared to the young people in 1981. Many visitors climb the hill on their knees as a sign of devotion and humility. The town is also home to the Church of St. James, a beautiful and sacred place where pilgrims can attend mass and participate in other spiritual activities.

Elvir was a terrific guide! Very knowledgeable about local history and sites, and willing to go at whatever pace we wanted. If we saw something interesting, he stopped for it. He suggested stops not on the original itinerary that added so much to our trip! We had a wonderful day! Would highly recommend!

This tour was great and had a beautiful and memorable day. Our driver Elvir was fantastic. Very helpful and informative. Took us everywhere and also waited patiently for us on each place. Had a good time with Elvir and had a funtastic day.

It was incredible!!! He was so kind and explained us a lot of history. Also he took us to beautiful places not many people know about. Delicious restaurants and coffees, plus beautiful pictures throughout the trip.

also went far beyond his duties to make sure we were comfortable. I was feeling unwell during the tour, and he kindly bought medicine for me, and water for everyone which was incredibly thoughtful. The entire excursion was perfectly organized — relaxed, interesting, and never rushed. We recommend him 100%!

Luka was an excellent driver and told us quite a bit about the areas that we would visit during the day. He was very accommodating and concerned about us. Would definitely recommend him.

We had a great experience with Elvir. He took us to Mostar, Medjugorje, and Kravica waterfalls all in one day. He is the only tour guide we could find that does all 3 locations for the day. We had great weather and even better pace getting around so he took us to Stolac, Bosnia to see Provalije waterfall and also for a very good traditional Bosnian meal. He does a nice job of breaking up the long day with stops along the way for breaks and coffee which helps make the full day go by at a nice pace. He also shares some history and took us to a museum in Mostar that went into more details. We enjoyed our day with Elvir and would highly recommend!

We saw very nice things and the driver was extremely polite and good but we were expecting also to be our tour guide and explain the history of Bosnia Herzegovina and the history of the cities we were traveling to.
