Note: The floating markets in the Mekong Delta are no tourist markets but wholesale markets where produce of the Mekong Delta like fruits and vegetables are traded. For this reason the number of boats on the market fluctuates depending on harvesting seasons and market demand. Furthermore, modern wholesale markets are becoming more popular in Vietnam. This can result in decreasing numbers of boats being present on the markets.

You will reach Cai Be at 9.30 AM. Up on your arrival in Cai Be, you will visit Cao Dai Temple which is symbolizing for the local unique religion and then the Cai Be Cathedral.
Cai Be Floating Market
you will embark on the boat to visit the inland and floating markets of Cai Be to observe the daily life of local people as well as to know how the two markets different from each other. You will buy fresh tropical fruits right at locals’ own boats and have chance to talk to them for exploring more their own culture value along with their daily life.

5.00Breath taking private tour of the Mekong Delta was so informative and calming to learn of the beautiful river island 🏝️ just outside of Ho Chi Minh City where most of the locals from the country side come from. With immense respect and knowledge of nature and living off the land. Farming delicious juicy fruits 🍈 🍉 🍍 that are export quality shipped out to China 🇨🇳 and surrounding nations that don’t have what Vietnam has in preservation of the fertile land and culture of family farms.

5.00Mekong Delta tour was amazing, never seen a place like it before. It was so peaceful and the boat rides were fun. Through Asianway travel, i traveled from Hanoi to Ho Chi Mihn city including Sapa and Halong Bay. All of it was made super easy and adjustable when needed by Tina. As a solo traveler I never felt anxious about anything as I was really taken care of. Vietnam has been my favorite solo travel so far. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦

5.00It was a very interesting and exciting tour with many activities within a day. An insight into the lives of local people and their music was fantastic. The boat rides were well timed and spanned the morning. Everything was very well organized and nicely explained by our guide, Mr. Hoa. Thank you!!

5.00Me and my group chose Asianway travel to visit mekong delta because their chu chi tunnel tour was superb.Mr.Hoa from Asianway travel picked up us from the hotel. We went to see the delta in a luxury bus. Everything was well coordinated by our tour guide,Mr Hoa. We were able to know the countryside of vietnamese. Mr. Hoa showed us the traditional houses in country side. We also enjoyed cultural music and ate fruits. We enjoyed honey tea at bea farms. We went on a hand rowing boat. Even the lunch was included in the package with another sightseeing. We also visited vinh trang buddhist temple which is a must to visit! So at the end of the tour we are very much happy..If anyone is reading my review, I can recommend Asianway travel is the best travel agency in the Ho chi minh city. Mr. Hoa thank you very much for helping us to see the mekong river delta!

5.00Thank you, Hoa! We had a great time in the Mekong delta, thanks to our guide Le Hoa and everything Asian way travel arranged for us. We even got to visit a very interesting Cao Dai temple. The cruise was great but the highlight for me was the musical performance and the amazing fruits including Durian :D Highly recommended!

5.00This tour was very eye opening and inspirational. It showed us life through the eyes of the civilians living in the Mekong Delta and brought us through beautiful forests on boat. Not only was our tour guide, Truc , very helpful and welcoming but so were the local guides on the boat and island tour. We got to eat a lot of special fruits, such as jackfruit, rumbleton, and longan. 11/10 would recommend to families looking for an enjoyable yet educational time in the Mekong Delta!
