We really enjoyed our trip to Monte Alban. The history and ruins were much more impressive than we anticipated and our guide was very knowledgeable! Definitely bring sunscreen, water and a hat! There is very little shade and numerous precarious steps, but worth it!

One of the best archeological tours we have had. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, pick up was right on time, we went straight to the site. Everything was planned so we didn’t have to fight crowds. There was no pushing to buy souvenirs, stopping at mandatory for tours like that stores. It was just a tour of the ruins with detailed explanation of everything we were seeing.

Fernando picked us up right on time in a pristine and spacious SUV. On the way, he shared history and knowledge about Oaxaca. His credentials allowed us to park close to the site. Fernando is an enthusiastic guide who is an expert on Monte Alban. His English is excellent. I’m only sorry that we didn’t book other tours with him during our stay.

Fernando was excellent and so knowledgeable! We learned a lot about history, architecture, and more of the Zapoteca civilization. Highly recommend a private tour with Fernando!

Our tour to Monte Albán with Fernando was amazing! He was so knowledgeable and took great care of us. We would not have taken so much away from the experience had it not been for Fernando. We saw people in large groups and were so thankful we did the private tour. He went at our pace and made the whole day interesting. He was kind, on time, and an incredible resoure. His car was very nice, and had a third row. There were 4 of us, but it could easily fit 5 passengers (six if you squeeze). Driving was smooth and safe the whole time. Definitely one of the best tours I’ve ever done. Highly recommend!

Our private tour to Monte Albán with Fernando was absolutely exceptional. Our guide was punctual, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Zapotec civilization. Walking through the ancient site at our own pace made the experience even more special, and the explanations brought the history to life in a way we could never have imagined on our own.
