Mutianyu Great Wall

Picked up between 7:00am to 13:00pm in your hotel lobby. Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun. At the end, you will transferred back to your hotel

Excellent tour of The Great Wall with Maggie. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The experience was smooth, fun, and oh so memorable due to her guidance and expertise. This is a tour well worth the money. Pick up and drop off at the hotel was easy and the navigation of the site was simple with Maggie. If you want to see The Great Wall without any stress then book this tour!

Our original tour got cancelled due to the floods. We booked with Lily’s Tour last minute and they arranged a trip to the only open section of the wall today. Renny took us to see the Badaling section of the Great Wall. A must see for us and Renny was a great guide and shared lots of historical information about the wall and the dynasties as we climbed the wall. She also gave us a great dinner recommendation near our hotel. Would highly recommended!

Nancy and Mr. Sun took us on a wonderful tour to the Great Wall. This was an amazing once in a lifetime experience that was made all the better by Nancy and her friendly driver. Nancy was so very personable and informative, and even took us on side trips for a tea tasting and a jade carving demonstration. She gave us tips for restaurants and things to do in Beijing for the following day. I highly recommend this tour and Nancy made it all the better with her warm personality. The ski lift ride up and the toboggan ride down were also very, very fun.

Driver Mr Wong was very nice, on time, informative and accommodative. He was timely on pick up and shared clear information on itineraries. He was flexible when we asked him to change the final drop off points. Would recommend.
