Mutianyu Great Wall

Picked up between 7:00am to 13:00pm in your hotel lobby. Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun. At the end, you will transferred back to your hotel

Driver Mr Wong was very nice, on time, informative and accommodative. He was timely on pick up and shared clear information on itineraries. He was flexible when we asked him to change the final drop off points. Would recommend.

Wendy was thoughtful, informative and fun. We had an amazing time visiting the wall. On our ride up she educated us on many different topics. She asked what we wanted to see and accomplish during our trip. Since one item was to buy jade she took us to a store where we learned the history and I was able to purchase a few items. She had water, umbrella and a fan for me. Then on our way back she stopped and bought us the largest peach we had ever had. Her kindness didn’t stop there she gave advice on places to eat and see. I would strongly recommend any adventure with Wendy!

Maggie is our absolute favorite!!! We had the best time on our tour today to the Great Wall and tobbagan down. If we could keep Maggie for our whole trip we would! She was the best tour guide, took the best pictures, was super caring and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave us great recommendations on restaurants and brought us to the jade factory and helped me get a one of a kind souvenir. When we come back, we will definitely be requesting her again!
