Mutianyu Great Wall
Picked up between 7:00am to 13:00pm in your hotel lobby. Then drive to Mutianyu Great Wall directly. Mutianyu Great Wall is known for its beautiful surroundings - dense woods and rich pastures changing colors with the seasons of a year. Mutianyu Great Wall is located in Huai Rou County on the north-east of Beijing. This section of the Great Wall is about 75 KM from the center of Beijing. As one of the best-preserved parts of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section of Great Wall used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. Cable car can take you up to the Great Wall, you can choose to enjoy the hiking to the peak or stay to enjoy the beautiful view. Cable down or toboggan down would be more fun. At the end, you will transferred back to your hotel

5.00Cannot recommend this tour enough! Maggie was our tour guide and she was the absolute best. She was communicative, knowledgeable, funny, and helped us change our tour from Great Wall only to the all inclusive at the last minute. This was the perfect way to spend a day and she made it even better. Highly recommend!

5.00Jeffrey was our tour guide, Xu was our driver. We had a great experience at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. Jeffrey was enthusastic, spoke clearly and had a great sense of humor. They definitely made our trip to the Great Wall much better.

5.00Great tour. I originally signed up for a later tour and Jun messaged saying that earlier was better to avoid lines and have the wall less busy. He was spot on. We missed all of the lines and had a great time. Mr. Wong, the driver was also great.

5.00We had an excellent Great Wall of China tour. Linda was a fantastic guide. extremely kind, knowledgeable, and with very good English, which made everything easy and enjoyable. The driver was also excellent: very professional, smooth driving, and the car was clean and comfortable. We didn’t have to queue at all, which made the visit even more pleasant and stress-free. Overall, a perfectly organized tour and a truly great experience. Highly recommended!

5.00We booked the private tour before heading out to China. We had good communication and our guide (Bobo Cao) checked in via WhatsApp to confirm everything. Our car was clean and comfortable and our driver courteous and drove well, traffic not bad and only took us 75mins to arrive at the drop off point. Bobo gave us a run down of the history of the wall, managed our expectations on the days itinerary, giving us the choice of the cable car or chair lift/toboggan. The queues for the chair lift were long, over an hour but we kept in line and it was worth it. We had planned on taking the toboggan back down but the queues were well over an hour and it looked slow going when you were on the toboggan so we walked straight down to the chairlift and got on one straight away. The right decision all in all. The wall itself and the commentary was great, it wasn't too crowded and we were free to walk around on the section. Bobo clearly knew her stuff and was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Offering up insights into life here in China and our son was clearly impressed and engaged, asking lots of questions. There are alot of souvenir shops and stalls around the entrance and at the exit of the chairlift itself, Bobo helped us navigate the numerous vendors and was very enthusiastic and helpful. Overall we loved our experience, Bobo clearly loves her job and she made our experience of the wall even better with her knowledge and insights. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her as a guide and the tour itself. Thank you!
