Shakespeare's Birthplace

When visiting Stratford, one must go and see the enchanting 16th Century home of William Shakespeare. Inside you will not only see the room where he was born, but have a chance to see one of the few original First Folio's left in existance. The live actors 'Shakespeare Aloud' will also be waiting for your requests for reenactments of Shakespeare's most famous plays.

Stow-on-the-wold not only offers a wonderful stop for lunch for both locals and tourists, but has an excellent selection of unique antique, wool and souvenir shops for your perusal. Our driver was “WILL” and he gave us a wonderful day. Arrived on time, drove safely, and was a never ending source of knowledge on history and most other topics throughout our tour. We were a family of 7 with ages ranging from 21 to 84 and everyone enjoyed their discussions and interactions with Will. Van was clean and tidy. Overall a great experience. As for the places visited, never enough time to see them in great depth because of the drive times, so would probably opt for fewer stops in future as to allow for more time to stroll and take it all in. Just a personal preference. But definitely worth the visit!

We had a lovely day touring the English countryside. The personalized itinerary allowed us to explore at our own pace and discover hidden gems we wouldn't have found on our own. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel in the heart of London, making it very convenient. Our guide Christian was very friendly and knowledgeable, going above and beyond with my mother-in-law, who has mobility issues.

Outstanding!! Truly tailored to what we wanted to see. The Cotswolds! Christian was so knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed our day with him and will refer friends. We will also reach out to him when we come back.
Best way to see the Cotswolds and Oxford for sure!!! We will ask for Christian again next time.

Christian was our guide and he was amazing! Lots of interesting history, great conversations. Tailored Tours held up to its name when Christian asked us about our interests and focused our tour on more of what we wanted to see- The Cotswolds! The private tour is worth the money because the smaller vehicle versus a tour bus enabled Christian to take us to the most beautiful less crowded villages. If we come back to England, we will be reaching back out to Christian for our next adventure!

Fabulous tour to the Cotswolds with a focus on Stratford upon the Avon, Oxford and the countryside. Our guide (Christian) was knowledgeable, interesting, positive, and fun to be with. We highly recommend the Company and Christian in particular.

We so enjoyed our trip. It was a favorite tour while we visited Europe for 2.5 weeks. Our guide, Oz, was incredible knowledgeable about each place we went. Our driver, Christian, was very helpful, especially getting me in and out of the van (I have a fractured kneecap that is still healing). We will use this company every time we visit London.

Amazing country side sight seeing. We had time wnough to see all places we wanted to visit. William was excellent! Very knowledgeable, and he accommodate all our needs. He made the trip fun for all of us (husband, 2 children and I) It was so worth it to do this day trip. We will definitely do it again!!

Our guide Oz was just amazing! Our tour was like going around with a knowledgeable friend who gave us pointers on what to do, accommodated our interests and attempted to customize the tour. We felt very comfortable throughout the tour and were amazed by how interesting a 10 hour+ tour could be because of the numerous stories Oz shared. As a result of this experience, we will only do customized tours. Thank you, Oz!!!
