Start your day with an early pickup from your hotel, between 5:00 and 6:00 AM. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive through the stunning Sacred Valley, where the picturesque landscapes of the Andes surround you. As you make your way toward Ollantaytambo, you'll pass charming villages and lush valleys, setting the tone for the incredible journey ahead. Upon arrival at Ollantaytambo, you’ll board a comfortable and scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes. The train journey is a highlight in itself, offering breathtaking views of the dramatic mountains, deep valleys, and the rushing Urubamba River below. It’s the perfect opportunity to relax, take in the landscape, and prepare for the wonders that await you.
Machu Picchu
Once in Aguas Calientes, you'll take a short bus ride up to the legendary Machu Picchu. This ancient Incan citadel, perched high in the Andes and shrouded in mist, is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. As you step into this extraordinary archaeological site, you’ll be immediately immersed in its mystical atmosphere and awe-inspiring beauty. During your guided tour, you’ll visit some of the most iconic and significant sites within Machu Picchu: House of the Guardian, Intihuatana, Temple of the Sun, and Sacred Plaza. After the guided tour, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own or simply take in the stunning surroundings. Later, you’ll descend back to Aguas Calientes, where you’ll have time to enjoy lunch at your leisure in one of the local restaurants, offering a chance to relax and reflect on your experience.

5.00Valencia were great, from the initial booking, through to the on the day experience. My guide Claudio Andia was amazing, with his in-depth knowledge and passion. He was able to navigate us through the large crowds with ease to get the best views and photo opportunities. He made the day an unforgettable one.

5.00I booked my trip to Peru at the last minute and at the last minute I looked for the ticket to Macchu Picchu. I entered the Valencia Travel offices by chance and immediately saw incredible professionalism and seriousness. Carla helped and supported me in organizing the whole day, from Cuzco to Machu Picchu, with extreme precision. Without his help I wouldn't have been able to go! Another highlight was the private guide to Machu Picchu, Washington! Super passionate about the place and its history, he will involve you with his stories and explanations. He is truly a very expert and professional guide! It will really make you appreciate being in one of the seven wonders of the world!

5.00What an experience to experience Machu Picchu! A strike occurred when we were supposed to originally go to Machu Picchu and Tamara at Valencia was able to get us rescheduled to go in our timeframe. The night before the tour, Wilbert came to the hotel and gave us a briefing of what to expect the next day! Our day started early (5am pick up time) and we made our way via car, train and bus to Machu Picchu. I was traveling with my mom and Wilbert went out of his way to help her with her back and with the stairs around Machu Picchu as my mom suffers from vertigo. Wilbert was an AMAZING tour guide!!! He was hilarious and very welcoming. I swear he knew everyone in Aquas Calientes and Machu Picchu. He knew so much about Machu Picchu as well! He even spent 2 years working on an excavation team there! So talk about some inside scoop! He ate lunch with us after our tour and then accompanied us back via bus, train and car again back to our hotel! I know we have a lifelong friend with Wilbert! If you are going to Machu Picchu, please request him!!!

5.00Without our guide we would not have experienced the maximum potential that macchu picchu offers. Valincia travel is a company I would recommend far and above any other company for tours of Peru and Bolivia. Our guide was welcoming, friendly, but most of all full of knowledge. We received above first class service during our time on our tour. Please check out valincia travel before you book any trip in Peru. A private, first class experience is a must when seeing 1 of the 7 wonders of the world

5.00I actually did a 14 day trip with Valencia Travel Cusco but wanted to particularly write about the Machu Picchu tour as it was my favourite! It was a magical experience, and not too strenuous a hike. I was travelling solo and Valencia really looked after me, there was a couple of hiccups in admin and a hotel assignment in previous days but Cecilia and Vilma quickly made it right and really made an effort to make my experience unforgettable. They assigned me a personal guide for my day in Machu Picchu which was very special, Hugo was professional, very knowledgeable, personable and friendly, we took our time with walking through the site and had amazing photo opportunities. His pace and guiding was spot on and we even talked about different theories of why and how it was built. He was also 100% fluent in English. Definitely one of the best guides in Valencia Travel and probably Peru! He gave me a unique and mesmerising experience of Machu Picchu. I had a few personal guides in my 14 days, another great guide was Ruben, he went out of his was to give me the Peruvian experience, even culinary which was not in the schedule! Very knowledgeable and friendly. I loved my day with him. I highly recommend Valencia travel because the people make it a once in a lifetime experience for you, they are attentive and very accommodating…the guides and transfers are all reliable and the office staff are available 24hrs for you whilst you are travelling…just a WhatsApp away. They really try to give you everything you ask for within your trip and more! Ruben also told me they do a lot of charity work with the local people in Cusco, especially during the pandemic to give back to the community. Exceptional travel company with a lot of heart ❤️
