  I had a great Safari with Roshan. He spotted every animal, drove very safely and was a great guide! I would definitely recommend going on a safari tour with him!

  Great tour around Udawalawe National Park we saw lots of animals and birds including elephants, crocodiles, spotted deer, jackals, hornbills, serpent eagle, hawk eagles, buffalo, kingfishers, bee-eaters and loads more. Our driver and guide was good at navigating us through the bumpy roads and pinted out a few things from the cab. However, we would have appreciated keeping a bit more distance between us and the elephants I felt we drove at them and too close at times and disturbed them unnecessarily, especially towards the end at the lake where there was loads of space. More often than not they will happily stroll by the truck when we are parked at a good distance. This area by the lake was stunningly beautiful with wildlife in every direction and multiple herds of elephants and solitary males. We were concerned in the morning when the many jeeps were queuing up at the gate that it was far too overpopulated with tourists and would have a serious negative impact but once we were in the jeeps spread out and the parks eco system appears to be thriving with healthy animals. • Heaps of elephants!

  We had a fantastic experience on our safari and saw plenty of elephants up close (including little ones!) as well as our guide pointing out many other birds and animals along the way. Our guide was excellent at spotting and manoeuvring to get the best view possible. Highly recommend.

  

  

• Fantastic Safari at Udawalawe

  We had an amazing safari with Rohan. We wanted to see elephants and weren’t disappointed seeing mothers and babies in groups, elephants wallowing in water as well as some big bull elephants. Other wildlife included grey langurs, crocodiles and many beautiful birds. Rohan was a great driver and guide. He knew exactly where to go and avoided other vehicles which made the trip all the more special. We stayed at his lodge the night before. It was comfortable, clean and had a beautiful garden. We also enjoyed some delicious dhal and roti after the safari. Thank you for such a great experience.

  A perfect place to organize a safari trip. At the entrance to the National Park, guides will offer their services, but this is not necessary because the driver knows the park area well. A good trip lasting several hours and seeing a lot of animals. I recommend choosing tours with Dilip. He also has accommodation in a village next to the park.

  Great professionalism on the part of our driver. He was able to meet all our expectations. He took small paths, far from the other jeeps, thus allowing us fabulous encounters including this face to face with an enormous elephant who came to bathe in front of our jeep... Just this elephant and our jeep... Breakfast on board water...   Great , exceptionally exciting! Many elephants, Malaki’s peacocks , eagles…. Despite a steady rain , we had a great 3and a half hours of pure joy!

  

  

• Brilliant safari with Rohan

  We met Rohan on the way to the national park and booked a 4-hour tour with him. He is a very good driver, friendly and found a lot of different animals for us (lots of birds, monkeys, crocodiles, elephants). We were very lucky and saw countless elephants on our safari.   It was a good trip, I wish we could have been more so we could get a better social time. But unfortunately the hostels do not talk together and I could see more Jeep’s with only one or two persons. They could easily talk together and then there could be a guide and a driver. But the safari was very good and saw many animals
