Valley of the Kings
The Valley of the Kings in Luxor, Egypt, is a historic burial ground located on the west bank of the Nile River. Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari

This architectural masterpiece is characterized by a series of terraces, colonnades, and courtyards that blend harmoniously with the natural landscape. The temple serves as a mortuary dedicated to the sun god Amun and features distinctive elements such as the colonnaded hall adorned with statues of the goddess Hathor. Originally, two obelisks graced the entrance, and while one remains, the other is now in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. 5.00I took the Private Classic Half Day West Bank Tour and it was a great experience. The guide was knowledgeable, and the visits to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon were well-timed and organized. The car was clean and air-conditioned, which made the trip comfortable. A very good option if you have limited time in Luxor.
