The adventure begins in Akumal, a picturesque beach located in the Riviera Maya. Participants meet local guides who provide a brief introduction to the activity. Equipped with snorkeling equipment and life jackets, visitors enter the sea. This area is known to be a natural habitat for turtles, which can be seen swimming peacefully near the surface or feeding on seaweed on the bottom. During snorkeling, swimmers have the opportunity to swim alongside these majestic sea creatures. Turtles are known for their beauty and gentle behavior, allowing participants to enjoy up-close encounters while watching their graceful movement underwater. The excursion continues towards a nearby coral reef. Guided by local experts, you will explore this vibrant underwater ecosystem, home to an incredible diversity of tropical fish, colorful corals and marine life.

The Jungle Fish restaurant in Akumal, Riviera Maya, offers a unique dining experience in a natural and relaxed environment. We had an amazing private tour with Lim! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience feel effortless. Swimming with turtles was unforgettable, and exploring the cenote caves felt magical. Lim made sure we were safe, comfortable, and having fun every step of the way. Great excursion with our guide Ruben at the top, very friendly. We swam with the turtles and saw beautiful and non-tourist cenotes, we were alone. Lunch very good. Perfect, I really recommend.

From start to finish, this tour exceeded all expectations. Although our original car had issues and couldn’t take us, the team handled it incredibly well – within no time, they arranged a new driver and guide, and the day went exactly as planned. We had a private guide with us to help find sea turtles, and it was such a magical and personal experience. After that, we visited the most beautiful cenote I’ve ever seen – crystal clear water, peaceful surroundings, and simply breathtaking. The day ended with a delicious local lunch that felt authentic and full of flavor. Everything felt well-organized, professional, and personal. Huge thanks to the team for turning what could have been a hiccup into one of the best days of our trip!

Swimming with turtles was an experience I never imagined I’d see, Ruben made us extremely comfortable all day which ac in his car along with free drinks and snacks. After this he took us to the most amazing cave cenote with the freshest water, he gave us snorkels and flashlights to ensure we could see all the fishes and I can’t thank him enough for making the day as wonderful as it was. Thank you so much Ruben and I recommend anyone wanting to go on a private tour to book as the price was so reasonable. The food afterwards was also free and he took us to the most authentic restaurant which was truly wonderful
Hisael is the man, Ruben made it happen, the whole experience was top notch!

Hisael was our guide, he was extremely knowledgeable and well versed in anything related to the state of Yucatan. He spoke 3 languages which came in handy considering we have a couple of kids who don't speak Spanish. He was very attentive and even accommodateda last minute change. Instead of having lunch we requested if it would be possible to take us to an outdoor and cave cenote. Great decision. This travel company is a must!

Our day trip started with a meeting with Ruben. He arrived at the appointed time in the morning and picked us up. His car was comfortable and clean. While we were driving to Akumal Beach, Ruben told us about the local attractions. By arrival, we went to the beach using the tickets purchased by Ruben. Everything was very organized: a place to store clothes, giving out vests and masks, meeting the guide to the turtles. The swim itself to the habitat of sea turtles was wonderful! At arm's length, we saw these sea giants, periodically surfacing nearby to gulp some air. Lots of fish and different creatures on the reefs. When we finished, we were offered water, drinks, and snacks. We were preparing for the next discovery. Since there were two of us only, Ruben offered a choice of cenotes, open or underground. We chose the underground one and were not mistaken. It was a beautiful place with unique natural architecture. The purest water, fish, and bats. We swam with masks and underwater torches through the entire cenote. And Ruben went underwater with us. The beauty and unusualness of this place were amazing, stalactites and stalactites, underwater rocks, cracks in the upper vaults through which the sun entered, and birds flew in. And bats constantly scurrying back and forth. I would love to go back there again! Well, at the end of our trip, we found ourselves in Tulum in a local restaurant, where they served a specially prepared dish according to an old Mayan recipe. We really liked everything! Next time, we will definitely book a similar trip with Ruben. We were lucky that we met him, a local resident who knows everything around and around this magical place. We highly recommend him!

Excellent experience. Ruben was an excellent guide, we went snorkeling with the turtles and sting rays, lots of different fish species. After, we went to Yax luum, an underground cenote with the clearest water. All in all a five star experience. Thank you Ruben!

Perfect half day tour to swim with turtles and enjoy a Cenote. All followed by a delicious local Mexican lunch. Ruben was incredibly friendly and told great stories along the way. Highly recommend it. Very much worth a bit extra to go on a private tour.

Vi had a great day in the company of Ruben. He knows so much out of personal interest, and it really shows! We had a great time all day, and would definitely recommend going to Akumal and a cenote this way. We are so happy with our decision to go in a private tour, and it did not disappoint! Ruben even took photos of u, and all contact was super easy on WhatsApp.
