Situated in the beautiful town of Windsor, Windsor Castle is the world's oldest and largest inhabited royal residence. It was the regular year-round home of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
You'll explore the 1000-year-old castle precincts with your guide, enter the beautiful State Rooms, see the Queen's Guards much closer than you can at Buckingham Palace, and explore St George's Chapel where royals such as Queen Elizabeth II are buried and Megan and Harry held their wedding.
Please note that no guiding is allowed inside the State Rooms section of Windsor Castle at all - you have the option of using an included audioguide for this portion of the tour. Additionally, St George's chapel is closed to visitors on Sundays.

5.00Aaron was our tour guide and he was great. He was extremely knowledgeable. We had the car from London and it was very convenient being picked up at our hotel. Aaron was with us during the drive and pointed out many sights along the way. Our ages ranged from 11 to 73 and we all enjoyed the experience

5.00We enjoyed a day trip to Stonehenge and Windsor Castle very well organized by Gio. Our excellent guide Mark took us back in time thanks to his enthusiasm, his anecdotes and his obvious pleasure in passing on his knowledge. It was a very beautiful day to end our stay.

5.00Our tour with Gavin with the absolute highlight of our entire London trip. The company had excellent pre-tour communication, even sending a picture so we would recognize him when he picked us up in our hotel lobby. We had an excellent driver, and Gavin described many things as we drove out of town. He is witty, charming, and extremely knowledgeable. We bypassed lines and he took our experience to the absolute next level. I cannot recommend this company enough. Please commend him on a job well done. I will always remember our day with him.

5.00We booked two full days back to back. The first day to Stonehenge & Windsor Castle included a private guide and driver. We could not have asked for a better tour guide (Gavin) and driver (Tanveer). The day was perfect. Gavin was able to deliver us so much information throughout the day. He made it fun for all of us. My wife and two children (17 & 19) can’t stop talking about the day. The second day was an in town day of London’s Westminster Abbey, Tower of London (The Crown Jewels & Tower Bridge), & St Paul’s Cathedral? This day was just as perfect as the first day. I strongly recommend this company to show you around London. They truly helped to build great memories for my family. We will never forget our time in London thank to “Private London Tours”.

5.00Private London Tours is an excellent tour organization. The company was willing to combine two tours into a single day which was perfect for us – Windsor Castle and Westminster Abbey. Using Emails, Gio was exceptionally responsive to all of our questions which gave us confidence in making this reservation ahead of our trip. Compared to other tour services, we especially appreciated this company’s policy of having a separate driver and a dedicated tour guide. The car/van was plenty large and easily accommodated our collapsible wheelchair. Alex is an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable of the sights we visited. She spoke clearly and was very flexible to meet our needs. We especially enjoyed her stories and human-interest tidbits. We highly recommend using this company.

5.00We had a great private zoom tour with Gio, as a special birthday treat for a friend. Such a nice way for us all to be together/apart, and take a mental break. Gio was fantastic at tailoring the tour to the special interests in our group. We had a great time!
