Zona Arqueologica De Teotihuacan

This is a private experience. We'll meet at gate number one, and once inside, we'll start with an introduction to the site to provide a general overview. Then, we'll explore the "Calzada de los Muertos," the main ancient access to the city. Next, we'll enter "La Ciudadela" to visit the pyramid known as the "Templo de la Serpiente Emplumada" (Temple of the Feathered Serpent). After exploring the pyramid, we'll move to the residential areas to observe everyday life, the architectural system, and mural paintings. Finally, we'll visit the area with the pyramids of the Sun and Moon. Throughout the tour, we'll discuss modern theories about the city, archaeological findings from the site, meanings behind offerings, and more. We'll also explore the relationship between the environment and the ruins. During the tour, I'll show you some artifacts from the past, and we'll use virtual reality to visualize changes over time. This will be an immersive experience into the archaeological world.

An Unforgettable Experience at the Pyramids of Teotihuacan! Our tour of the pyramids with Pakalito was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, it was clear how passionate he is about his work, and that energy is contagious. His knowledge of Teotihuacan’s history brought the ancient city to life, making the experience not only educational but truly fascinating. The views from the top of the pyramids? Absolutely breathtaking! We felt like we stepped back in time. If you’re considering a trip to the pyramids, do yourself a favor and book with Pakalito. It was hands down the best part of our visit. This was our second tour with Pakalito and ours tours with him are always the highlight of our trip. Pakalito is truly passionate about the history of Mexico City and it comes through in his tours. He will have your group laughing from his clever jokes, in awe of the amazing views and you will learn a ton of interesting facts. Do yourself a favor and do not miss out on a tour with David if you are in the area!

I cannot recommend Pakalito/ David enough! Pakalito is clearly super knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the history of the site and he ran the tour very smoothly. I especially appreciate his humour and his helpful (and funny!) materials. My group was a little tired from our travels, but he kept us engaged and excited throughout the day. If we have the opportunity to visit another archeological site in Mexico again, we would definitely check if Pakalito is available!

We booked David, a.k.a Pakalito, for both the National Anthropology Museum and Teotihuacan in early March. We had to make some slight changes to our schedule and he was happily able to accommodate us. We could not have been more satisfied with the care and detail that he brought to both tours. His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm were quickly apparent and his additional materials on both his tablet and in his binders helped bring many of the artifacts and buildings alive. It was like being in the middle of an interesting documentary. Highly recommend!

Un Joven was fantastic. Yes, he really has a degree in archeology and yes he knows what he is talking about and delivers it in a wonderful story form with great enthusiam. His English is excellent and he easy to follow. We did a private tour of the pyramids and it was a great way to see them. He picked us up from our hotel on time in a clean late model Toyota Rav4. I would highly recommend him. And definately have him take you lunch at the cave!

My wife and I booked Pakalito (David) for the Anthropology Museum tour and the tour of Teotihuacán. Both tours were private, and we would not have had it any other way! Pakalito earned his degree in anthropology, and his passion for the topic is infectious. We spent over four hours with him each day and were interested in everything he had to show us. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful as well; he helped us book private transportation to and from Teotihuacan. He mentioned that he also works with balloon companies in the area, in case anyone wants to add a balloon tour. Some things that make his tours special are his background in the area, his knowledge about the ruins, symbology, and architecture, his use of Virtual Reality on his Teotihuacán tour, and the part we thought was very cool: he took us to an excavated residential area of Teotihuacán, and we were the only ones there — no other tours seemed to visit the area!

The best you could possibly hope for in a tour of a historical site. Went there looking to learn as much as possible about the society and people who lived in Teotihuacan and left with more information than I even expected. The guide, David, is thoroughly knowledgeable on the history of the site and the academic currents regarding how we should understand it. Even where we lacked definitive answers, I knew I was getting the closest look into what those answers might be based on the work and research of archaeologists like David and his peers. Cannot recommend this tour enough if you want a personally invested and experienced perspective of this staggering cenotaph of human history.
