The National Anthropology Museum feels like stepping into a time capsule, unlocking secrets of ancient civilizations at every turn. Every corner holds a piece of history waiting to be unearthed.

Sometimes you can feel lost in time, but through my eyes, you’ll be able to find the right steps to uncover more answers and more questions.

Since childhood, this museum has been my favorite place in the city; it became my home for many years. Nowadays, the excitement of showing such a special space to other people is always immense.

If you're not a big fan of museums, allow me the opportunity to show you how fun they can be... And if you already enjoy museums, let's savor and learn together.

Through the eyes of "A Young Archaeologist," you will discover Mesoamerica and its cultures and regions. My objective is to show you that pre-Hispanic history in this country goes beyond just the Maya and Aztecs. I will take you to the main exhibition halls to explore the masterpieces of each culture. We will discuss their history, religion, politics, economy, architecture, and traditions. Together, we will understand their possible meanings. By the end, you will have knowledge of the great variety of cultures in the past and their processes over time. Additionally, you will see why this museum is the favorite space of this archaeologist. Passion, fun, and professionalism are guaranteed.

David (Pakalito) was an excellent tour guide. I have never been a big fan of museums, but the time flew with it and it was a very interesting and fun experience. He has such an in-depth knowledge of history and archaeology and you can really say he is passionate about what he does. I would not hesitate to recommend a tour with David, he is very friendly and intelligent. Next time I go back to the city, I will definitely book another one of your tours!
Don't go to the museum without this guy.

Pakalito was amazing. We do a lot of guided tours when we travel and this was hands down one of the best. His knowledge and passion was over the top. He also arranged for a tour of the pyramid the following day. Do not go to the museum without this man.

David was an amazing tour guide and would recommend to anyone! He was extremely friendly, deeply knowledgeable, and had very good ways of explaining concepts and history through the use of images and activities on an iPad he brings on the tour. He made the tour very interactive, answered all our questions, and gave us breaks when we needed to sit down. Highly highly recommend his tour!

Our guide Pakalito was wonderful . He contacted us prior to tell us where to meet and choose preferred time slot. He was on time . He was friendly. He was knowledgeable in all things MesoAmerica. We highly recommend him Now the museum itself is awesome. Not only with all it has to offer but the central esplanade with the umbrella , the gardens and outside exhibits. Awe inspiring. We did not want to leave. An incredible experience Thank you Pakalito!!!!!

David was superb. He has so much energy and a real love for and excitement about the material he teaches and the museum itself. He has a great way of inviting you to engage in the history and people of Mesoamerica. David also took extra time to answer our many questions and show us exhibits or artifacts that demonstrated the concept he was explaining. He also effectively used an iPad and photos taken on the spot to highlight carved symbols and other representational elements that brought additional meaning and insight to what we were seeing. We also enjoyed finding out what inspired him to dedicate his life to studying and learning archeology when he was young and then encountering that historic figure in the museum.

Our private tour with Pakalito of the National Anthology Museum was the perfect way to start our first trip to Mexico City. He did a wonderful job of explaining Mexico's amazing history to my wife and me in a totally clear, fun, and understandable way. Our guide could not be more knowledgeable, but he still made it understandable to novices. I highly recommend this tour with Pakalito and would really recommend doing at the beginning of our trip to Mexico City. Gracias!

Pakalito was amazing! He put everything in context and we learned a lot from him. He is obviously very passionate about archeology and Mesoamerican history and it showed. Our private tour was challenging due to some language barriers and the fact that some in the family were not into history as much as we were but Pakalito won them over too!
