Sete Cidades
Sete cidades is the name of the lithe town we visit inside the cratered The route we take is special because is replete of flowers , Hortensias and beterfly ginger, and different trees. We do a couple stops like lagoa do canário, King view. Cerrado das freiras, lagoa do Santiago , e lagoa Verde. Beside those lages we can listen the bird's singing , we can fell peace of spirit. We can see the big misture between the green of the nature and the blue from the sky. For sure the nature will bring to the travel many emotions.impossible stay indifirent.
Lagoa do Fogo
Usually i started the tour to Lagoa do Fogo by the sud. In the Way we will see the most beautiful views. The Miradouro da Serra da Barrosa show to the travel how much this league is beautiful I can't discrive all in words. In this tours we pass besides two geothermal centrals . The water falls Salto do Cabrito, and the Monument Natural Caldeira Velha.

5.00It was an awesome experience and enjoyed our day with Artur! Azores is beautiful place! The middle & west part of Sao Miguel is beautiful and so glad that we timed our visit during Hydrangeas blooming season ~ what a sight along the roads & farmland!

He seemed so genuine when telling us about every spot and knew so much( also spoke great English ). It seems like he loves to do This and I wished I could do it agin. 5.00Artur was an absolute dream tour guide ! We booked an all day private tour hoping to see as much of the island as we could on our very short visit and Artur made it happen! Artur shared beautiful stories of his culture, history of the island and of course took us to the most breathtaking views! We were in awe! Not only was the island fully of beauty and wonder but Artur was also a shining star with his humor and welcoming ! Truly made us feel like part of the Azorean Family! We can’t wait to visit again and book another tour !

5.00We found Artur through Viator from other reviews. He is super responsive and can customize a day trip or longer excursion for your group. We had a 3 year old with 6 adults so we needed to do child friendly activities. Artur handled it all getting us booked to try thermal baths and pre-arranged a fabulous “cozido” lunch at Restaurante Banhos Ferreos! It was AMAZING! Thank you Artur! 5.00We met Artur upon arrival in port and we decided to take a private, custom tour with Artur's help and suggestions. The tour was excellent and we had a lovely 4 1/2 hours being shown around this beautiful Island.

5.00Arthur was a very professional, passionate individual both my husband and I truly enjoyed a whole day. He accomodated the tour based on what we wanted to see, eat, drink, and experiment😀 We were so lucky to contact him. We got only one day before heading to Flores Island. In case we rented a car ourselves and wondered around the island, we decided to ask a professional guide to guide us. It is hard to do everything when you just came in as a foreigner. We would highly recommend him to anyone. He is so knowledgeable. I told him that he should also consider becoming a college professor😀

5.00Artur single handedly made our trip in Sao Miguel memorable. He was so down to earth, great at explaining all types of scenarios (history, geography, culture, food, etc) from all different perspectives. He was able to look at his own country through many different lenses and provide a more well rounded experience than we ever could have hoped for. He was punctual, flexible, always accommodating, funny and kind on top of it. He took guiding us to a whole new level, finding ways to relate to everybody (7 in the tour group) on our trip. At the end of our 9 day journey, Artur told us we always had family in Sao Miguel now, and we really feel like it! Couldn't imagine going on this adventure with a different guide! Ps he knows all the best photo spots!
