Your journey through the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe begins as you step into the heart of this remarkable sanctuary for orphaned and injured elephants. Welcomed by the serene surroundings, you'll witness a unique haven designed to nurture and rehabilitate these magnificent creatures. Travelers will have the opportunity to watch baby elephants being fed milk, while the guide provides detailed explanations about the Transit Home and its mission.
