  Our family of 4 loved meeting our amazing guide Montse. She was such a lovely person who educated us and gave us wonderful Pinxtos tastings in great locations. Not only did we discuss food and drink but local customs, ways of Basque life, history and so much more. We loved all of the food and were so full by the end of it! Could not recommend Montse more highly!

  Clara was an absolutely fantastic guide! She was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the food, culture, and history of San Sebastián, but also made the entire tour so much fun. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and her passion for the city’s culinary traditions really shone through. Clara’s energy, warmth, and expertise made the experience unforgettable—I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable food tour!

  Fantastic time with Clara on our tour. I am gluten free so it took the hassle out of worrying about what to eat and whether it will be lost in translation. We had a lovely little history lesson from Clara too.

  We took a private tour our first night visiting San Sebastián, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Clara, our guide, was exceptional—her endless local knowledge, great taste, and genuine passion for her work made the tour truly memorable. She not only shared insightful stories about the local food culture but also guided us to some hidden gems that we would have otherwise missed. One member of our party is pregnant and a few can’t drink alcohol, so the private tour was perfect so that we could customize our stops. At the end of the night, choosing a favorite Pinxtos bar was nearly impossible due to the incredible variety and quality of everything we tried. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

  Clara was an excellent tour guide and showed us some wonderful places. We were travelling with two young children (3 years old and 6 months old) and she accommodated them beautifully. The food was amazing - very generous portions and great value for money!

  Excellent tour! My group of five had a wonderful time. Clara was an exceptional guide. So fun learning the history of San Sebastián from a local and being guided through the busy city for some excellent Pintxos and Wine! We had a vegan in the group and Clara helped navigate the choices for the special diet so well. We all enjoyed every bite! If you are on the fence about booking, just do it! The entire group is very communicative, from responses back about being able to accommodate a special diet before booking, to Clara reaching out about our meeting time and location the night before, and providing an email at the end of the tour of the places we’d been and suggestions for additional places to visit. So nice to have reservations at each spot and a local to help navigate the selections. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

  Clara gave us a wonderful introduction to your beautiful city ..she provided delightful, entertaining and fascinating commentary, including a tour of the parking garage where walls of the old city still exist. As we strolled thru the different areas, she kept us entertained as she provided pertinent facts. We loved it! Thank you Clara!!

  The guide makes the tour very entertaining and bearable. The visit is condensed into just an hour and a half, more than enough time to get to know the most important things about the city. Ideal for the first day in the city. In addition, interesting anecdotes about the city are told. We went with small children, and the pace of the visit is correct. The guide made them participate in the visit. The duration of the tour, for them, is also very good. Then we combine it with the pintxos tour, a rounded way to enjoy San Sebastián.
