I did enjoy the day and would recommend it but it felt a little forced. The yurts were set up and decorated purely for tourism about an hour out of Astana. The young man who played the traditional Kazakh music and sang was fantastic but as it was just me travelling I felt it went a little too long. The horse ride was good and as I was a beginner I had 3 people come with me, which was comforting. (No helmets) I did feel it was a little overpriced at $300 US for what it was. Would I recommend it? Yes.

A very nice and slow horse ride around Yurt perfect for beginners and people who’ve never ridden a horse. The views in the Winter are absolutely gorgeous. The village is stunning, the food is amazing and the company really entertaining. 12/10 Highly recommended!!

Absolutely outstanding tour experience! Guides were highly professional, spoke excellent English, deeply knowledgable about Kazakh culture and history, and fun to spend the day with. The horseback riding was an adventure - even in subzero temperatures, deep snow, and high winds, the tour operators were willing to take us riding. The yurt experience was culturally meaningful and enjoyable, and we learned a lot about Kazakh culture and had the opportunity to listen to authentic Kazakh music by a local musician. Everything about this tour was excellent, and I would highly recommend this company to anybody going to Astana.

We rode horses, ate traditional food, good level of Spanish and perfect English. We were in a nomadic tent. Worth it

I had the chance to go around with Kadyrbek and I was not disappointed at all! His English is impeccable and I was able to learn so much about Kazakhstan and Kazakh culture in general while eating traditional snacks in a yurt. Afterwards, the horse ride was very nice and perfect for a beginner like me. The place where we rode was very peaceful and beautiful! I recommend the excursion for all those who have not ridden and would be interested in trying as well as all those who would like to get out of town a little!!

This tour was amazing from beginning to end, they pick us up from our hotel, all on time, the way in the car it was very informative, the Yurt experience out of this World and we love the horse riding, beautiful tour we learn a lot about Kazakh culture, highly recommended to anyone who want the real cultural immersion.
