Next enjoy the comfortable ride to Zhujiajiao water town, regarded as the “little oriental “Venice, and one of the best-preserved ancient town with 1700 years history. Upon arrival, begin to explore the town with your guide, spend some quality time to visit the old stone paved alleyways, walk up ancient “Fang Sheng Bridge”, see interesting local shops, historical landmarks, colorful handicrafts etc. learn the fascinating custom and culture from your knowledgeable guide. The relaxing gondola ride is available to choose during the tour. During the tour you will have the opportunity to enjoy a delight local lunch. After the wonderful day you will be dropped off at your Shanghai hotel or other downtown area as per your requests.

5.00If you get Robert you will be taken care!! He went out of his way to help us get to a pharmacy before our tour even started. He never rushed us to get back on time and was very patient and answering all our questions. He took us to a nice local restaurant for lunch on the water. I would recommend this tour and even ask for Robert he was such a gentleman and very knowledgeable about his city.
Tour Guide Lea was AMAZING and the pandas were so cute

5.00Our tour guide Lea was fantastic! My grandson loves her. She was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable with the area and the history. The pandas were the highlight.

5.00Fantastic tour. Guide was knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time to explore at our own pace. She knew all the tricks to give us the best experience. We got to see the pandas eating, eat local cuisine, and go on an amazing boat ride. The local cuisine was incredible and she helped us order and taught us how to use the plates and utensils. Overall 10/10 experience. We only had a short time in Shanghai and this was a highlight.

5.00We decided to do this tour as we wanted to see outside of the bustle of Shanghai and experience some older cultural parts of this huge city. Sunny Tours were very well organised - they gave us great information on what to expect, and when we had to make some last minute inconvenient changes to the date, they accommodated our request. Out guide Robert came to pick us up at our hotel and at all stages was the epitome of a gracious host. He was knowledgeable about Zhujiajiao, which is a picturesque water village and worth exploring. We also combined this with a trip to the Shanghai Zoo, as I especially wanted to see a Panda up close. Enjoyed the zoo as well, and Robert sorted all ticketing and made it very easy as he knew exactly how to navigate his way around. Saved a lot of time as the zoo is very large. Also experienced a lovely lunch Robert organised looking out over the Zhujiajiao canal. The vehicle was a very comfortable and fancy people mover, with a great driver. Thanks to Robert for all his knowledge and calm nature. Would recommend this day trip if I’m Shanghai!

5.00Fantastic tour with Cassie. Visiting the water village and visiting key spots. Delicious lunch, fantastic boat ride and visiting the zoo seeing pandas! Cassie was a fantastic guide explaining Chinese culture and heritage and showing key spots. Highly recommended.
The visit of the city is an opportunity to see a fairly original architecture

5.00Cassie was absolutely lovely and took so many pictures of us, which we really appreciated. We learned a lot about the local culture, animals, and small local shops, and got to see so much more than we expected. She also explained the meaning of Chinese writing characters and shared deep cultural insights, which helped us truly understand China—not just see it. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable experience! I did some crazy thing too eating a scorpion!

5.00Cassie picked us up at our hotel and took us straight to the zoo. The zoo is very large and so it was great to have her get us through the highlights so we could move on to Zhujiajiao. Along the way she told us all about the regions of China and the various dynasties. We loved Zhujiajiao, it was more quiet than we expected for a Saturday. Cassie also took lots of photos of our group and after a delicious lunch helped us with our shopping. Afterwards she dropped us off at the pedestrian walking street downtown so we could continue our evening. Great, friendly, and knowledgeable tour guide. Would recommend!
