Whether you want to see waterfalls, wildflowers, enjoy a quiet walk on a forested path, or climb a 6,000 foot peak, we will customize these trips based on your desired distance, difficulty, and destination. After booking, our office will contact you to discuss your preferences.
Hike will meet our office in downtown Asheville at 8:30am, and will last approximately 4-5 hours including transportation time. Snacks are included, but transportation is not. Transportation between Asheville and the trailhead (including hotel pickup) can be added for an additional fee. Your guide can provide trekking poles upon request at no additional charge.
We hike rain or shine! Hikers should arrive prepared for all weather conditions and pack a rain jacket, an extra warm layer, and water. We may cancel or reschedule your hike in the event of severe or dangerous weather conditions.

See beautiful scenery in Pisgah National Forest during your hike! Hikes may feature mountaintop views, creekside walking, historic landmarks, and seasonal wildflowers.

5.00I highly recommend a privately guided mountain hike tour with Tamara. It was an incredible hike up Mt. Pisgah. Tamara is very knowledgeable about the history of the area, specifically about the forests surrounding the Biltmore Estate and explained how the German forester, Carl Schenck, managed the Biltmore Estate forest and established the first forestry school . The hike was moderate, and the scenery breathtaking! Tamara brought delicious snacks and made this the most memorable hiking experience.

5.00We had a wonderful time with Bev! We visited Asheville for our 30th anniversary. We had never been hiking in the mountains before, and she gave us the best experience! She is very knowledgeable and taught us a lot during the time we had with her. She even brought us a couple of blueberry muffins with candles to celebrate our anniversary by a waterfall. It was so thoughtful and unexpected. We also love all the pictures that she took of us during the hike. We highly recommend Bev and Blue Ridge Hiking Company! Her passion is contagious and we hope to hike again soon!

5.00The Highlight of Our Trip – Bev Is Amazing! We had an absolutely incredible hike with Bev! We visited two gorgeous waterfalls, learned so much fascinating history along the way, and got to see parts of the mountains we never would’ve found on our own. Bev took us to the best, most peaceful spots — hardly another person around — and captured amazing photos for us so we could just soak up the beauty without worrying about taking pictures. You can tell Bev truly loves these mountains, and her passion is contagious. We left feeling like we shared that love even more deeply after hiking with her. She made sure we were well fed, well cared for, and totally prepared for a fantastic morning. Our only regret is booking a half day — we’re already planning another trip just so we can hike with Bev again. Highly, highly recommend!

She was incredibly knowledgeable about the trails, the local plants, and the history of the area. We learned so much along the way. Traci did a fantastic job engaging with our boys, keeping them curious and entertained throughout the hike. 5.00Bev was an amazing guide. We learned so much from her about local history, local vegetation, and even photography techniques. She was fun, energetic, and encouraging. We saw three waterfalls in a relatively short amount of time. I would highly recommend spending the morning exploring with Bev.

5.00This was a hike derailed by the weather disaster last year, and it was worth the wait. A year later, I got to hike with Amy in Black Mountain range, and she was a great guide, from the pick up at my hotel, throughout the hike and our return. She even gave me ideas for future hikes, which I intend to return soon for and make sure it is booked with Amy.
