During this one-day trip, you will have an unforgettable travel experience! A professional English-speaking tour guide and a driver will take you to visit popular check-in spots in Taroko National Park, Hualien County.

The Taroko Gorge was formed about 250 million years ago. Four million years ago, the island of Taiwan was formed by the collision of plates. Due to long-term erosion by streams and crustal arching, a vertical canyon was formed. Its special topography is also called Taiwan "Grand Canyon".

Shakadang Trail

Shakadang Trail in Taroko Naitonal Park has been one of the most popular hiking trails, hikers can enjoy the vibrant turquoise waters of the river, the towering marble cliffs. Stakataka, the name for white rocks, were found all over the riverbed of the Shakadangxi (river), mostly marble and gneiss. The river decorated by the green and white rocks and the stonewall path are the most attractive feature of the trail.

The name "Swallow Grotto" comes from the numerous small holes and crevices in the cliffs that serve as nesting sites for swallows.

Cipher was the best tour guide ever! I really enjoyed the trip. I was comfortable and learned a lot. The views were beautiful, the food was delicious, and overall it was a great day. I am a solo traveler and feel like I was amongst friends the whole time. I highly recommend!

I took 3 excursions in 3 days with MyProGuide. Each tour was great! I'm not sure which was my favorite. Sun Moon Lake was foggy at first, but our tour guide, Vaness, made sure we caught the boats across the lake once the fog cleared. At Shifen (Yehliu Geopark tour) I was still able to release a sky lantern, even though I didn't reserve one on the bus.

Well-planned. Guide could have slowed down when explaining. (It was more like auto-pilot). The whole trip was too rushed and felt like a military exercise. Could have started earlier and ended slightly later (just half an hour earlier and later) and it would have been a lot less rushed.

We were able to get immersed in the beauty and artistry of the places we visited only because we had Mr Vaness as our tour guide. You took us to the time these monuments were built and made us feel experience something incredible. Tbh, I overslept on the day of the tour and nearly missed the tour as well. Thank god our tour guide vaness being so nice just de-tour and pick me up to join the group tour. Thank you very much

The views in Taroko were incredible and Cypher was the most lovely guide ever! Despite a few bumps in the road on our journey, Cypher was extremely kind and reassuring to everyone on the tour.

Booked this tour through Klook to visit Taroko Gorge in Taiwan. Visiting the Taroko with public transportation is nearly impossible because the time schedule of the busses are not very reliable. So we booked this tour guide. Pick-up at Hualien train station by a touring bus. The guide informed us the planning and took orders for lunch: adequate in organization. During the day we were dropped off at several points of the Taroko. No much information is told about the place. The day is well planned out. Enough time for each visit, enough opportunities for toilet visit and lunch timing is good. If there is anything, I would have preferred a native English speaking guide.
No event held. Want refund or will consider legal action.

They failed to get me the permit so the event never took place and then they refuse to give me a refund for not providing the service.
