A part of the sustainable tourism program of the city of puerto princesa the Underground river is one of the 7 wonders of nature - a UNESCO world heritage site and is also called St paul subterreanean river national park is also called a RAMSAR site. This is located in the St paul mountain range in the westcoast of Puerto Princesa Palawan Philippines.
Enjoy riding in a paddleboat in Sabang Underground River Cave, This is a Paddle Boat Tour in a unique eco-tourism experience that is a guided trips, a tour access to this unique, centuries old cave, forest and its wildlife.
Pick up from city center hotels free, if your hotel is out of town there is an extra pick up fee applies.
Pls inform us if you are arriving from a cruise ship this tour is applicable only for cruise ships departing after 4:30 pm due to time constraints.
Advance booking is required to process government permits to enter the cave.
In cases of Bad weather conditions we will offer refund or offer you alternative.

5.00Amazing cave. The best one I’ve been to. A must do. Guide was funny and made the tour enjoyable. Lunch was excellent.
Be prepared for a lot of waiting around!

3.00We booked the latest trip at 9 am as my son had only just arrived from Australia that morning, only to get a call at 7.30 am saying the guide was in reception to collect us. After rushing out with no breakfast we travelled for an hour where we then had to wait 1 1/2 hours for a boat to take us to the underground river, then more waiting for a canoe. The canoe trip itself was interesting & lasted about 45 minutes. Then back onto the boat again to the mainland. Lunch was good & then back onto the minibus for another hour journey. Our guide was ok but felt this trip was somewhat overrated.

5.00Our guide and his driver were waiting for us at the port with a huge sign with our names: easy to spot among the compact crowd of taxis. Great welcome, very professional. Our guide explained our visit, with humor and great accuracy. A delicious lunch, cooking on site with fresh produce, after the breathtaking visit.

5.00Picked up at the pier between 8-8:30,12 people+driver & guide Anna drove 1:45 to under ground River little cramped but ok & Anna keep it interesting. Then loaded on motorize out rigger boat 6 people + 2 crew 25mins very loud then a wet landing in the surf crew very helpful ,walked to the river a given a hard hat waited for are turn to load in a smaller out rigger canoe 8 people +1 guide who paddled us through the cave it was incredible (I had goose bumps a true wonderful experience )then reverse boat ride an a very good Filipino lunch .Drove back to the pier with a stop@ some over priced souvenir shop that had a wash room .

5.00What a wonderful tour!!! Our guide, Show, was so knowledgeable and entertaining and our driver was excellent. The lunch stop was really great, don’t skip getting a fruit smoothie made! The natural wonder of the Underground River is like nothing I’ve ever seen, it’s simply incredible!

5.00A not to be missed magical experience! We were met on time at our pick up location by a delightful guide and we had a seamless experience from getting in the van, to arriving at the boat dock, traveling by boat to the national park, hiking to the river, getting a river boat and guide immediately, returning to a lovely lunch, and finally driving back to Puerto Princesa. The caves are truly special and the audio devices they provide are outstanding. The only complaint I have is the transport van is very uncomfortable for the lengthy trip. The seats are not at all comfortable and many of us were experiencing back pain. The mountain roads are very curvy and a couple of people in our group struggled with car sickness.

5.00This tour was AWESOME!!! So many cool elements to it. The drive there was gorgeous with so much greenery and random water buffalo spottings. The boat ride to the beach held some of the most stunning views we saw on Palawan. The cave tour itself was so cool - so many bats, swallows, and someone on our kayak saw a snake! After the tour, we saw monkeys and a giant monitor lizard on the beach as well! Truly breathtaking experience and one of the highlights of our honeymoon!

4.00This is a must do excursion. The cavern is one of a kind. We had a great guide and a good driver. The audio guide in the cavern was very helpful. On the down side, there is a lot of waiting: 90 min to take the motor boat to the site and then another 90 min before getting a paddle boat and entering the underground river.

5.00Feet will get wet when embarking the boat so go in rubber shoes or slippers. An amazing underground river cruise worth the long journey from cruise terminal.
