5.00Accommodating doesn't even begin to explain this wildlife excursion outfit; they went above and beyond to make sure we got the as-advertised experience. We miscalculated our travel time from the lower Snaefellsnes peninsula and arrived seven minutes late. Rightfully so, they had disembarked on time; delaying others on a booked tour puts you in a gray area. Sometimes they'll wait, but a marine adventure requires punctuality, particularly when puffin seeking in an area with unpredictable weather; you kind of have to strike while the iron is hot. Frantically calling all the saved numbers from your screenshots or itineraries doesn't ease the anxiety, particularly when a Google search also requires some extra knowledge for international country codes, or your phone might prompt you with digits you don't want. All in all, we were in a pickle and didn't want to miss one of our most anticipated adventures, and even though they didn't have to, they made everything right for us. Kindness, flexibility and patience goes a long way when working through issues like this, and I didn't expect a refund or newly booked trip, but they were able to make arrangements that worked for EVERYONE…they didn't have to inconvenience the crew, bump other guests or unsafely cram us into another boat; we just caught the 2 o'clock, which had openings, and explored Stykkishólmur while we waited. The tour itself is incredible; the boat can run fast, but not terribly choppy. The crew is fun, knowledgeable and understands the mission: they look for great photo ops and unique sights and experiences. We were able to see one of only a handful (estimated 85-100) of white-tailed eagle pairs in the country, some playful harbor and grey seals, incredible bird activity, nested cliffside pufflings and incredible oceanscape scenery. We felt like the value we got for the price was impressive, along with the time spent at sea and area covered, and is certainly something I would recommend to others, even locals, and would gladly do again ourselves. Another bonus, it's generally closer to Reykjavik than other areas you need to travel to see puffins, like the Westman Islands, Westfjords or Hafnarhólmi in eastern Iceland.

5.00Amazingly nice staff. Tour was perfect for our group: 3 adults and 4 kids (8 yo and younger). Saw puffins, seals, and eagles. 10 out of 10 would recommend

5.00If you want to see bird and wildlife, this is the tour to do. The captain (whose family owns one of the large islands you visit) was very helpful and had lots of information. There were only 6 of us, which made getting around the boat easy. SO MANY BIRDS!! Even Sea Eagle and Parasitic Jaeger, and a few Gray Seals.

5.00OH MY GOODNESS! What an incredible tour. We couldn’t recommend this tour more. I can’t believe how many puffins we saw. Seriously! SO MANY PUFFINS. We also saw white tailed eagles and seals (among many other birds!) and our captain was fantastic! He and his family have been in the area for many generations, so it felt like we were getting a true insiders perspective. Must do it you’re in the area!
