At the end of August we were able to experience a beautiful sunset in happy weather conditions as part of the Puffin Safari. From the sea there is a different perspective. We could only see a puffin from a distance, as at the end of the season the birdlife has changed. Our very friendly and excellent captain even drove into a cave and answered all our questions patiently. This tour was one of the most beautiful events in the Faroe Islands during our holiday. We were even lucky enough to observe pilot whales. This tour is highly recommended!

Truly enjoyed the Puffin Safari. Greatly appreciated the small size group tour that Seatravel offers. There was space to move around and just enjoy the scenery and birds. Our Captain was a wealth of knowledge and despite fog starting to roll in, we saw a lot of puffins. Highly recommend the Puffin Safari Boat Tour.

Great boat tour. Tour operators were very pleasant and fun. Loved the small group (7 I think) we were able to get up close but not to disturb the environment and habitat. Highly reccomend.

We had perfect weather and enjoyed the cruise. It was very informative and we saw everything we expected. The captain explained everything and answered all our questions. There was plenty of room.

A great experience, Elias as a very knowledgeable guide (and captain) could very entertainingly describe “his” home. The boat and also the life jackets were in perfect condition, enough space and we felt very safe. So, a real recommendation!

Absolutely fantastic boat trip. We got to see what we came to see. The guide Elias was superb and told about the Faroe Islands and these traditions. Can really recommend this tour.

If it wasn’t for our captain, Elias, it would have been a bit of a bummer because we had a very overcast and foggy day. Nevertheless, we were in the Faroe Islands!!! The mountains from the water were spectacular! The drive from Torshavn is about 45 minutes. The boat was small and there were seven tourists in total. But everybody was friendly and interesting. The puffin experience was weak, however. Mostly due to the weather. We saw puffin swimming and flying, but none up close because the hillsides were covered with fog, which is one of the possibilities with the weather here. We do recommend this tour - it is “short and sweet”. Elias has a lot of local, interesting experiences as he grew up in the village. Just come prepared with a waterproof coat and gloves and mindful that weather is unpredictable.

The boat trip was fun, and I liked having a small number of people. It was lovely to see some of the Faroe Islands from the water. Unfortunately we didn't see any puffins, but it was still fun. The company just needs to be a little clearer on their location - there was a sign to the dock, but after that I only found the right boat because others pointed it out. Not a sticking point, though.
