Relaxed 1/2 day small bus tour to the rain forest and steam engine train

5.00Short hope to the rain forest and a ride on a true steam engine for about 1 hour. Fits couples and families all ages. We had great weather, but we did wear our coats. Restaurants are very basic and if travel on holidays, book your tickets in advance. Total of 4 hours tour and Michael provided great relaxed music and a environment!

5.00This tour was perfect for what we were looking for! Our tour guide, Gerry, was very friendly and entertaining and the tour was the perfect length. We got to enjoy the puffing billy train ride and see the surrounding sights without having to wait around for long. Thanks for everything!

5.00Such a well organised tour from beginning to end. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, friendly and jovial. The Puffing Billy ride was so enjoyable, brought out the inner child. Perfect day out for our family.

5.00Tour started well, bus was at arranged pick up almost on time. Loaded an interesting mix of people and off we all went. Bus operated smoothly with good commentary. Stopped briefly for toilet break and a nice cup of coffee from a vintage caravan, then onto The Puffing Billy. Everything we needed to know was thoroughly explained and we were then led to our carriage. Journey was great fun and very interesting. End of journey and there was plenty of time to get something to eat or drink at the large cafe at the station, followed by our trip home. All in all a very relaxing fun day. Highly recommend.
Unless you are an avid train fan, there’s little to recommend it

3.00Long way there and back. You need to sit on the right hand side of the train otherwise there’s virtually nothing to see. Thought there might be some wildlife to see in the forest but not so. An expensive disappointment.
