The cruise was great, lovely scenery. The only problem was with the commentary, it could not be heard out on the deck. Disappointing!

The tour guide on the cruise was very clear and easy to understand. He knew the French and English languages very well and told everything consecutively in each language. I wished I had waited until we got closer to the Falls to take pictures because I didn’t know how close we would get and when they first pointed them out, I thought that was going to be it, so I took pictures and then my phone died. I feel like the main point of the cruise is to let you see the falls, so that’s good. Just wait for it. The views of the city are OK, but the falls are really the highlight. Although we arrived early, we had to wait in line at the ticket office to get our voucher processed and ended up being the last ones on the boat because of the delays of the other passengers ahead of us. Ended up having to take seats we weren’t thrilled with.

The tour offered little information about the history of Quebec, instead focusing on mundane maritime info (e.g, explaining what a green buoy signifies). The narrator promised to explain everything in both French and English but about 3/4 of his talking time was in French. The 7 pm cruise left 15 minutes late, which meant that all but the first 15 minutes was in the dark, making it impossible to see much.
