  The tour company on enquiry and booking confirmed we would be going to Chard Farm, that is 6 of the people booking. Upon collection there were two additional people taking the group to 8. Shortly after collection we were advised by the guided that she had been told that morning we were not going to Chard Farm, she didn’t exactly know why. It thought it was due to an event at the winery. As would image the 6 of us were annoyed as we would have likely gone an alternative day. When we visited the winery two days later at an additional cost we were advised the tour operator had mislead us as we were informed they well know Chard Farm only do tasting groups of no greater than 6.

  Ana drove us around Central Otago for a beautiful day of delicious wine drinking. The van was lovely, the driving sensational and the wine was out of this world.

  We had an awesome time on the 4 wineries tour with Southern Discoveries in Queenstown. Anna was absolutely amazing , very friendly, knowledgeable and made the whole day so much fun. The wineries were all different and the wines were excellent. We loved getting to try such a variety of local wines and learning more about the region along the way. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Queenstown. We would definitely do it again!

  Wonderful tour. Our guide, Anna, with Altitude Tours was outstanding. She knows the area. She knows her wines. She is a safe driver and made the journey fun and interesting. She also took us to some extra out-of-the-way places to enjoy the autumn scenery. We went to four wineries for tasting. We had a very nice lunch at one of them (Kinross Winery). Thank you for a great day.

  If you're looking for a fun day, this is it! From beginning to end, this was a perfect day touring the 4 wineries in the Queenstown area. Got picked up at our hotel in a luxury (Mercedes) van. Our guide, Do, was fun, energetic, and engaging! And she was super cool too! The wineries were top notch. We even bought a case to ship back to Miami and can't wait for it's arrival. We had a small friendly group and we all drank, laughed, made some friends, and overall can't say enough about this tour. By the end of the tour, we were all singing on the bus to great tunes. Look no further than here. Thank you Do! (I won't give away her name as Do is short for....you'll just have to guess when you go on the tour)

  Fantastic tour and fantastic tour guide with Do at Altitude. Would particularly like to compliment Do on her thoughtfully curated playlist for the van, especially on the way back! The four wineries were amazing with plenty to taste along the way. Do's history and explanation of the wineries was also excellent. Strongly recommend this.

  Wonderful day trip. The scenery is stunning in and around Queenstown. The driver, Beth, was on-time, entertaining, and helpful. Our tour took us to 4 different wineries, which means by the end you will have sampled 15-20 different wines! Pace yourself! It’s almost too much of a good thing!

  We had a great day out with Altitude. We went to,4 wineries which was just about the right number for a day. The standout for me was Kinross where our wine advisor David gave us a great overview of the wines we were tasting and where we had a lovely lunch of a cheese platter. We were picked up and dropped back to our accommodation which made it very easy. Highly recommended

  We very much enjoyed this tour, led by our guide Edita. It hit the balance of being both fun and informative! Initially I was concerned that the full tour (I think we had 14 in the van) would mean that our tastings would be crowded, however that was not the case. Edita also ensured that folks were able to make a quick introduction to each other, which offered comfortable talking points for the rest of the day. The four wineries we stopped at each offered their own unique experience in tasting as well as varietals of wine. The winery hosts were very expert in guiding descriptive and informative tastings. Tastings were generous and efficient. Our group was able to mingle and enjoy conversations at each of the wineries. Edita was adept at keeping our tour on schedule without making us feel rushed. She offered plenty of both local knowledge and information about the process of making wine. Time in the van seemed to fly by, despite the Queenstown traffic. Would totally recommend this tour to anyone looking for a broad sampling of the region.
