We were randomly walking up to the South Gate of Ephesus and Volkan was just helping us without even offering a tour. He said hey for 40 euros I’ll give you a tour of Ephesus and we jumped in and are so happy we do. We were able to connect so many dots as history lovers, he explained so much to us also told us where to go while we stayed in Selcuk and what to check out when we get back to Istanbul. The perfect stumbled upon tour guide ever!

Vulkan provided our group of three adults with an excellent tour and explanation of Ephesus. His knowledge of the subject matter and clarity of presentation made our two hour tour very enjoyable and memorable. Vulkan speaks English perfectly and presents his information with enthusism. We highly recommend him!

Our happenstance meeting with tour guide Volkan will always be a highlight of our trip to Ephesus - He could see that I was apprehensive about reaching Ephesus from the van we were traveling in - and since he has just finished a nursing tour - offered to give our small group of 4 an afternoon tour ! He was a Godsend and made the whole afternoon a breeze - we are so thankful to have met him ! What a wonderful experience to walk where Paul once spoke to the Ephesians - thank you for everything, Volkan !

Volkan is a very knowledgeable nice guide who made our visit to Ephesus exciting, educational and fun. He answered every possible question, was patient and polite when we needed some extra time for photos or for some rest from the heat. He is the best guide you could possibly wish for for your visit in this exciting place! Thanks Volkan!

Volkan gave us a tour of Ephesus and it was amazing! We were initially going to explore on our own, but thought we would gain so much more if we went on a tour. We're very glad we did because it made our experience a lot better! Volkan is very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about his work. We told him that we were headed on a tour of the Aegean coast and he shared many great recommendations. He even gave us his business card with his whatsapp info and said we could reach out with any questions we had. We've reached out to him a few times already and he's been very responsive and insightful. We're so glad we met Volkan. He made our trip to Turkey so much better. Book yourself a tour with Volkan if you want a wonderful tour of Ephesus and amazing local tips :).

We ran into Volkan at the gate and ALMOST didn't take his tour. That would've been a BIG mistake! If you walk around Ephesus without knowing the history, you can finish it pretty quickly. However, you would be doing yourself (and your group) a big disservice. The history is so rich there, and Volkan is full of interesting, cool, and fun facts! He is super knowledgeable about all of the monuments, buildings, roads, and everything and was able to answer any question we had. There are SO many things in Ephesus that don't look like much and we would've definitely walked past TONS of stuff, not knowing all the amazing stories and history behind it. Volkan was an amazing tour guide, his English is excellent and he is now certified to do Spanish tours too! Do yourself a favor and call Volkan for a tour. I promise you'll get so much more out of Ephesus than just walking around yourself. He also gave us tons of tips for our road trip along the Aegean Coast. I highly recommend a tour with Volkan!

Volkan is a very knowledgable guide.BUT the most amazing thing is how passionate he is about his craft. Touring with Volkan is a one-time experience to relive the history that unfolded beside you as you walk. Highly recommend.

Volkan is an excellent source of knowledge and offers keen insights as well as a friendly demeanor. His near endless stream of well-researched interpretation is interspersed with plenty of humor, local insight, and narrative flair. Also, he has a fondness for animals and knows where to find the best kebaps in Selcuk - so he's a winner in our book. Highly recommend 😁
