Quicksilver Cruises
Departing from Port Douglas, your 90-minute high speed catamaran takes you directly to Agincourt Reef. The permanent pontoon moored here provides a sheltered base. During the trip a snorkeling demonstration will get you ready for your adventure, and the staff will take you through your options for the day.
Agincourt Reef
You'll have around 3.5 hours to enjoy the reef at your leisure. Grab a snorkel and fins and hit the water on your own, or join an optional guided snorkeling tour with a qualified marine biologist. Snorkeling is a great way to explore the Great Barrier Reef, and there are friendly staff on hand to show you how. Prefer to stay dry? You can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-submersible submarine. You'll take a leisurely cruise through colorful coral gardens, giving you a snorkeler's view of the marine life without getting wet. For a little more adventure, why not try an introductory scuba dive. or a unique Ocean Walker Helmet Dive - no diving experience necessary. We recommend you book this reef trip on your first full available day. You then have the opportunity to be flexible and change your travel date if you wish. Your booking can be changed at no additional cost directly with the operator once you are in Cairns.

5.00We went with our two year old. The staff was amazing so attentive even getting me a drink and making me lunch whilst my toddler slept on me. They were so helpful checking times for different activities and ensuring you get to experience everything you wanted to. Even with a 2 year old in tow we were able to snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Go through the underwater tunnel, ride in the submarine and also take a lovely 10 minute helicopter ride to see the Great Barrier Reef from the sky. Absolutely unbelievable and well worth the extra money. Lunch was really delicious too and everything is so well thought out. If you’re visiting port Douglas it’s worth every penny.

5.00Staff and crew were incredible. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable . We felt safe. This was a once in a lifetime experience and we feel like we got it. Our kids have not really snorkeled before so I would advise getting them comfortable with this prior to this if you can as this was a big jump for our kids but they did it and made an incredible memory. Again, the crew was incredible at making people feel comfortable. The submersible ride was fun and we did it first to get the kids pumped about what we were going to see snorkeling. The boat ride out is 1.5hrs and there were some individuals who for seasick, so if you are prone definitely premedicate though they did have anti motion sickness meds available for purchase on the boat. The crew also really looked out for everyone and had bags, ice and cold towels and advice to help people get through it. Also, lunch does run out - we almost missed it because we were busy having fun and when we got there things had run out but we still felt fine about our choice to play instead. You can also purchase chips and ice cream. My kids were ogling another pontoon that set out from Cairns but this one was fantastic and we liked Port Douglas. This was well organized outfit and we had an amazing time and made some incredible memories. Recommend

5.00Possibly the biggest reef cruise operator at PD, well maintained catamaran and friendly service staffs, ample buffet lunch and snorkelling gears, overall a very satisfied experience

5.00The weather was a bit nasty but fun was had at the reef. The crew members were very friendly and helpful. The buffet lunch served was very tasty and plentiful. Even though the ride to and from the pontoon was rough I would definitely recommend the tour.

5.00Fantastic day out on the outer reef. Plenty of time to snorkel and enjoy the variety of fish and coral. Seeing a reef shark glide underneath us was a highlight. The crew and the whole operation was fantastic.

5.00We were so excited to do this tour and visit the Great Barrier Reef. Everything from pick up at our Resort in Palm Cove to the boar ride out to the platform was perfect. We had a snorkeling guided tour and the biologist was incredible. She showed us so many different fish and coral and had a wealth of knowledge. The ride out to the Reef was very nice in a large boat with comfortable seats and clean bathrooms. All the employees were kind and knowledgable. They did everything to make us feel safe and cared for. I can't recommend this tour company enough. I wish I had the names of our guide but she did such a great job. 5 stars for this company.

5.00Excellent immersive tour from start to finish. Excellent service, staff & experience. All inclusive drinks & food. Lectures on the Sea life & reef related to ecological sustainability of the reef. Not to be missed. Superb day.
