  It was amazing !! We were so taken care of !! Out guide helped all eight of us through the tct process in the airport !! It is a very challenging timely process with our limited Spanish skills . I truly appreciate the operator guide choice .. kind helpful patient .. love Viator !!!!

• The only way to "fly" to Cuenca

  Our first trip to Cuenca, we flew two puddle jumpers from Guayaquil and it took all day on small planes. This last trip we hired Cuenca Best Tours to pick us up at the hotel (we had a late arrival) an drive us to Cuenca. Geaovany arrived promptly, handled our considerable luggage (six big suitcases, carry-ons and three pets) with ease, He was polite, comfortable and although we had limited Spanish, the communication was easy. The van was clean, comfortable and safe. We had a lovely ride on windy, often edge-of-mountain roads, drove through the National Park, where Geaovany pointed out the park's many lagoons and special natural features. We stopped and had a tasty lunch at a rest stop/restaurant with fabulous views, good foods. Geaovany asked if we could bring the dogs inside with us and we were allowed (small, well-behaved), a special treat. No matter how scary the roads were, we felt secure with Geaovany at the wheel, We saw small villages and many beautiful sites - and were delivered to our bnb faster than we could have gotten there by plane. This was our second tour w/Cuenca Best Tours and lived up to the excellent bar set by the first. It was faster, more comfortable, less expensive and definitely more scenic/informative than flying and as always, the vehicle and driver were in tip top shape. Highly recommend trying it your next trip from Guayaquil to Cuenca or the way back, which we have already booked for a friend traveling with us, but leaving earlier. she will be taking the trip with a short walking tour in the park and Javier of Cuenca Best Tours has promised a naturalist driver, as she is very interested in that area. We have also booked another tour of the artisan villages in the next week, knowing it will be fun, safe and highly informative. If you have a tour/driving need, do not hesitate to book with Cuenca Best Tours.

  We booked with Cuenca Bestours because they had the best rates. We were very pleased with their services - Fernando met us in the Guayaquil airport arrivals area. The Cuenca office coordinated everything with me and when we arrived, they let the driver - Fernando - know where I was and how I was dressed. He came right to me though we have never met before. Fernando drives carefully and is fluent in English. We made the trip easily. My husband enjoyed the captain's chairs in the back part of the van while our large suitcases rode easily in the rear and I sat in front. Thanks, Cuenca Bestours
