5.00My partner and I had great fun doing the grade 5 entry level white water rafting. Staff were polite but firm with rules (which was needed with such a high-risk activity). We got great photos at the end. Would recommend to anyone wanting an outdoor adventure and those dipping their toe in thrill seeking activities.

1.00Did rafting with Kaitaki Adventures Rotorua and wow… where do I start 🙃 The raft leaders were actually good and professional, no complaints there — they did their job well. But everything else? Absolute mess. I’ve done rafting with two other providers in Rotorua, and this one is hands-down the worst experience. The lady at the front desk… my gooood 😑 so rude, zero customer service skills. Felt like we were annoying her just by being there. Safety gear looked old and patchy — yeah, still safe, but definitely not confidence-boosting. For what you pay, it shouldn’t look like it’s survived 10 seasons already. They were late on timing, which already sets the mood. And then the cherry on top 🍒 — paid $40 for photos and guess what? Still no photo link after 3 days. With other operators, we got the photos before even leaving the place. Here? Radio silence. Overall, poor service, bad attitude, disorganised, and not worth the money. Worst experience ever. Would not recommend when there are much better options in Rotorua.

5.00The entire team were so friendly (especially the gorgeous dog who welcomed us in and sat with us to calm our nerves). The equipment was well organised. I appreciated the respect the team paid to the traditional Māori heritage of the area. I felt safe and excited through the trip. Going down a rapid on my back was a highlight. I was disappointed I didn’t get thrown out of the raft on the 7m waterfall lol. Would highly recommend this to everyone!

5.00We had an amazing time white water rafting, and the whole experience was an absolute thrill from start to finish. The waterfalls were a real highlight especially the 7-meter drop, which was incredibly exciting. On one of the smaller waterfalls, I even got to sit on the nose of the raft. It was terrifying at first but also so much fun, and I was proud to have held on the entire time! We even got to get out of the raft and swim down one of the rapids which was so much fun. Our guide, Ben, truly made the experience unforgettable. He was extremely knowledgeable, reassuring, and very funny, which kept the atmosphere light while making us feel completely safe throughout the trip. Thanks to his expertise and great energy, the adventure was both exhilarating and comfortable. I would highly recommend this rafting experience to anyone looking for excitement and unforgettable memories. The whole trip was around 1.5-2 hours long and so much fun. On the TripAdvisor website we paid $75 per person which was a very reasonable price for the experience we had. We went with around 20 people and everyone was so nice and hyping everyone up.

5.00It was definetely the best experience that we had in New Zealand. It was so fun. Before i got there, i was a bit afraid but the professionals and especially Jackie explained everything very good and I felt that i know what i have to do in order to be safe. It was just amazing! I can definetely recommend it.

5.00Brilliant experience!! Booked this for myself and my partner for our last day in NZ. Saved the best until last. Very well organised, great staff, all equipment provided. Our guide was Caruzo, brilliant fun and clearly very experienced. Teamed up with team Europe, Uk, France, Italy and Germany, we all loved it! Would highly recommend! Great waterfalls and rapids. Only trouble being, that I don’t think anything else will match this😁

5.00Fantastic team, really clear and supportive - especially of those who were a little unsure. Jack steered us brilliantly down all the rapids and we really appreciated his skill, encouragement and stories. Highly recommend this company - beautiful manakitanga and a really experienced team.
