Nature, culture, adventure and many reasons to explore the Ecuadorian Andes by bycicle.

From Cuenca we will travel to Cañar Province, to start a magical bike trip following the rails and tunnels of the old Ecuadorian Train.

Surrounded by green andean landscapes next to the Cañar River we arrive at “Coyoctor Archeological Complex” also named “Baño Del Inca”, ancient ceremonial temple of Cañari and Inca cultures.

To finish our adventure, we arrive at the train station of “El Tambo”, a town full of Cañari identity.

Adrian was incredible! We went on the Rails to Trails bike tour on the old train tracks in the Cañar province. Adrian was very knowledgeable about the history of the trail and was very accommodating for our different skill levels. The trail itself was GORGEOUS! It felt like we were on an epic adventure, with different vegetation and scenery at each mile. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun workout with good views!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our day-long adventure: point to point bike excursion with personal guide, well-performing mt bikes, all transportation, delicious lunch/snack, beautiful scenery, learning from our guide about the natural surroundings and the people and communities along the way.
